Cowboys' Dez Bryant: Sees 14 targets
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Bryant secured eight of 14 targets for 63 yards during Sunday's 37-9 loss to the Cowboys.

Quarterback Dak Prescott was seemingly under pressure all night, possibly due to the absence of 2016 All Pro tackle Tyron Smith. As a result, Prescott wasn't always able to deliver accurate throws and frequently looked to be getting rid of the ball earlier than he wanted to. These hardships directly translated to Bryant, who also looked to be getting double-teamed on a consistent basis. While the struggles are very real, there's hope for Dallas' passing attack going forward if the team can replicate the success they had on the ground Sunday. If a more balanced attack can be attained, additional passing lanes figure to open up for Bryant on the whole.

Cowboys' Alfred Morris: Lone bright spot
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Morris carried 17 times for 91 yards during Sunday's 37-9 loss to the Eagles.

Morris was the lone bright spot for the Cowboys on a night quarterback Dak Prescott committed four total turnovers. In fact, Morris had more rushing yards than Prescott had passing yards before Dallas abandoned the run in the fourth quarter. His performance was especially impressive since the Eagles entered the game having allowed just 3.6 yards per attempt. With Darren McFadden a healthy scratch Sunday and Rod Smith not proving very effective, this kind of workload could be the norm for Morris on a per-game basis moving forward. Plus, his upside figures to receive a significant boost whenever mauling tackle Tyron Smith (groin) is cleared to return to action.

Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Bullied by Eagles
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Prescott completed 18 of 31 passes for 145 yards and three interceptions during Sunday's 37-9 loss to the Eagles. He also carried twice for 10 yards while losing one fumble.

It was an ugly day for the Cowboys. Prescott -- accompanied by a leaky offensive line sans 2016 All Pro tackle Tyron Smith (groin) -- was square in the center of the team's offensive struggles. His three interceptions mark the most he's thrown in a single game throughout Prescott's young career but aren't the only turnovers he committed Sunday, as Prescott also had a fumble that was returned for a touchdown. Perhaps the offense is struggling to find an identity in life without Ezekiel Elliott (suspension) but, with Elliott or not, Prescott still needs to avoid costly turnovers for Dallas to contend with the league's best. He'll seemingly have more time to make better decisions whenever Smith returns. Regardless, the Mississippi State product will look to get back on track Thursday against a Chargers secondary allowing just 6.6 yards per pass attempt, the seventh-lowest figure in the league.

Cowboys' Anthony Hitchens: Suffers groin injury
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hitchens injured his groin during Sunday's game against the Eagles and is questionable to return, Rob Phillips of the Cowboys' official site reports.

Before exiting, Hitchens was tied for the team lead with five tackles. Jaylon Smith will presumably fill in for the remainder of the game if Hitchens isn't able to return.

Cowboys' Maliek Collins: Active for Sunday's game
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Collins (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Eagles, David Helman of the Cowboy's official site reports.

While it is a good sign for the Dallas defense to have their starting defensive tackle in the game, Collins hasn't recorded a tackle since Week 8. He'll try to get back on track in this contest.
