Chiefs' Justin Houston: Expected to play Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Houston (illness) is expected to play against the Chargers on Sunday.

Houston first appeared on the injury report Thursday and did not practice, but was a full participant Friday. The veteran linebacker avoided the questionable tag as well, so the Chiefs are apparently fairly confident he'll be ready for Sunday.

Chiefs' Parker Ehinger: Doubtful for Week 3
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Ehinger (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Ehinger has practiced on a limited basis each of the past two weeks but has received the doubtful tag heading into both games. Given that he's still practiced lately the injury doesn't seem overly severe, but it's difficult to gauge his likelihood to play beyond this Sunday.

Chiefs' Reggie Ragland: Practices fully Thursday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Ragland (knee) was a full participant at the Chiefs practice Thursday.

Ragland has yet to see game action this season but did practice on a limited basis last week and on Wednesday, so he looks to be ready for Sunday's game against the Chargers. The 2016 second-round pick isn't expected to play a major role on the Chiefs defense right away, and will likely only be a reserve linebacker and special teams player, if he even suits up.

Chiefs' Justin Houston: Will not practice Thursday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Houston is sick and will not practice Thursday, BJ Kissel of the Chiefs' official site reports.

This is a new ailment for Houston as he was not present on Wednesday's injury report. Stay tuned for more information as the weekend approaches, but at this point Houston is still expected to be available for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Chiefs' Dee Ford: Notches first sack of season
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Ford recorded two solo tackles, a sack, and his first sack of the season in Sunday's victory over the Eagles.

Although Ford was relatively quiet in the contest, he made his impact felt with a second quarter sack of opposing quarterback Carson Wentz on third down. which resulted in a nine yard loss. Though his tackle total was low, the 26-year-old saw a healthy 67 snaps (97%) in the contest. He will face-off against Phillip Rivers and the Chargers in San Diego next week.
