Rams' Matt Longacre: Limited in offseason workouts
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Longacre (back) was a limited participant in offseason workouts, Myles Simmons of the Rams' official site reports.

Longacre was held out of team drills while he rehabs a back injury that required surgery last December. It isn't clear if the linebacker will be fully ready to go when training camp opens. If he isn't, it's possible sixth-round rookie Trevon Young will open training camp with the first-team defense.

Rams' Mark Barron: Limited participant in offseason program
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Barron (shoulder) was a limited participant in the Rams' offseason program, Myles Simmons of the team's official site reports.

Barron underwent shoulder surgery this offseason and wasn't allowed to do any team drills this spring. While it isn't clear if he'll be completely free from his restrictions when training camp arrives, Barron is nonetheless slated to play a huge role in the Rams defense this season. In fact, defensive coordinator Wade Phillips said the linebacker could potentially be the team's defensive signal-caller.

Rams' Brandon Allen: Active during offseason program
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Allen (back) was an active participant through OTAs and minicamp, Vincent Bonsignore of the Orange County Register reports.

Allen finished the 2017 campaign on injured reserve with an unspecified back injury he suffered in December. While he's now healthy, Allen remains the team's No. 3 quarterback behind Jared Goff and Sean Mannion.

Rams' Aaron Donald: Won't participate in minicamp
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Donald won't attend Los Angeles' upcoming mandatory minicamp, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Donald heads into the final year of his rookie deal and is looking for a hefty raise and long-term extension. With the two sides having yet to come to an agreement, Donald will be a minicamp holdout and there's a chance that extends into training camp for a second straight season depending on how quickly things progress. Donald is already a four-time Pro Bowler and is coming off a 2017 campaign where he nabbed NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors, so he has plenty of bargaining chips.
