Vikings' Sam Bradford: Workload limited again Thursday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said that Bradford (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

The Vikings planned all along to limit Bradford's activity in the team's second practice of the week, but the more important takeaway from Thursday's session was that Zimmer was upbeat about the quarterback's health. Per Tomasson, Zimmer said he feels better Thursday than he did a day earlier about Bradford's chances of suiting up Sunday against the Buccaneers, but the team's final practice of the week Friday should shed more light on the signal caller's status. If Bradford's knee issue -- which is believed to be a bone bruise -- forces him to the sideline for a second straight week, Case Keenum would pick up another start behind center, resulting in a bleaker outlook for the team's receiving corps.

Vikings' Xavier Rhodes: Full participant at practice
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Rhodes (hip) logged a full practice Wednesday.

Rhodes was limited throughout last week at practice due to a hip issue, but was ultimately able to take the field in a Week 2 loss to the Steelers. The 27-year-old finished the contest with five tackles (four solo) and a pass defended. Although he was injured heading into the game, Rhodes was still on the field for 60 of a possible 74 snaps. Barring any setbacks, he is on track to play in Week 3.

Vikings' Sam Bradford: Limited at practice Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Bradford (knee) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.

Per Chris Tomasson of The St. Paul Pioneer Press, Bradford said Wednesday that he would like to think his chances of returning for Week 3 are good, but he then acknowledged that he won't have a real read on his availability until he sees how his knee responds in practice. His ability to practice in some capacity Wednesday is a good start, though he also was a limited participant all last week and didn't end up playing in Sunday's 26-9 loss to Pittsburgh. Should Bradford miss Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, the Vikings will be forced to rely on Case Keenum, whose presence under center would necessitate a major downgrade for Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen and Kyle Rudolph.

Vikings' Andrew Sendejo: Tallies team high in tackles
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Sendejo led the Vikings with 10 tackles (eight solo) in the Vikings Week 2 loss to the Steelers.

Not only was Sendejo all over the field Sunday, but never left it on defense, as he was on the field for all 74 snaps. The veteran strong safety will figure to continue being relied on heavily when the Vikings take on the Buccaneers in Week 3.

Vikings' Eric Kendricks: Active in loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Kendricks tallied nine tackles (three solo) in Sunday's loss to the Steelers.

Kendricks improved on a six tackle (three solo) performance in the Vikings' season opener. He was on the field for all 74 defensive snaps, and figures to continue being heavily involved in the action when the team welcomes the Buccaneers to the Twin Cities for Week 3.
