Raiders' Antonio Hamilton: Activated from IR
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Raiders activated Hamilton (knee) from injured reserve Friday, Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Hamilton tore the meniscus in his knee during the Raiders' Week 4 loss to the Broncos, but progressed as expected in his rehab and will offer aid to Oakland's secondary over the final three contests. It's likely that Hamilton will see most of his snaps on special teams, as was the case before he hit IR.

Raiders' Obi Melifonwu: Lands on IR
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Raiders placed Melifonwu (hip) on injured reserve Friday, Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

It's the second IR stint of the season for Melifonwu, who was one of two players the Raiders designated for a return after he missed half the campaign while recovering from knee surgery. The second-round pick ended up providing just seven tackles across five games during his rookie season before undergoing surgery Thursday to address a persistent hip injury. Cornerback Antonio Hamilton (knee) was activated from IR in a corresponding move to take Melifonwu's spot on the 53-man roster.

Raiders' David Amerson: Doubtful for Week 15
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Amerson (foot) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

Amerson started off the week limited in practice but did not participate Thursday and Friday. Sean Smith and Dexter McDonald should see increased workloads Sunday with Amerson likely to miss his sixth consecutive game.

Raiders' Obi Melifonwu: Will sit Week 15
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Melifonwu was ruled out for Sunday night's game against the Cowboys with a hip injury, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

Melifonwu didn't participate in practice this week, so his absence doesn't come as a surprise. The rookie safety has appeared in just five games this season, logging seven tackles.

Raiders' Mario Edwards: Won't play Week 15
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

Edwards sustained the injury in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs and barely missed any snaps, but wasn't able to practice this week. Jihad Ward and Denico Autry should see increased snap counts at defensive end Sunday, although Autry is questionable with a hand injury.
