PLAYER NOTES

--QB Peyton Manning and C Jeff Saturday tied the NFL record for the most career games for a quarterback-center tandem. Former Buffalo QB-C Jim Kelly and Kent Hull set the mark at 157 total games.

Manning completed 27-of-43 passes for 325 yards and three touchdown passes against Denver. He has not thrown an interception so far this season.

--WR Austin Collie has caught a touchdown pass in each of the first three games this season. He had a five-yard TD catch in the first quarter of the Denver game. Collie also had a 23-yard scoring reception in the fourth quarter.

Collie hauled in a single-game career-high 12 passes for a career-best 171 yards and two touchdowns against the Broncos. He had previously set single-game career marks in the season opener at Houston this year (11 catches for 163 yards and a TD).

--CB Jacob Lacey notched his first interception of the season. Lacey, who had been slowed by a concussion late in the preseason, had seven total tackles, a tackle for loss, two passes broken up and the interception.

--P Pat McAfee set a franchise record with six touchbacks on kickoffs against the Broncos. McAfee had tied the franchise record with five touchbacks on kickoffs a week earlier against the Giants.

--OG Jamey Richard was hurt in the second quarter. He was replaced by former starter Kyle DeVan. Richard later returned to the game.

--Rookie LB Kavell Conner started at weak-side linebacker for injured starter Clint Session. It was Conner's straight start. Conner, however, was hurt in the first quarter and did not return.

--LB Cody Glenn replaced Kavell Conner at weak-side linebacker.

--Rookie OT Jeff Linkenbach got his first NFL at left offensive tackle in place of injured starter Charlie Johnson.

--Rookie TE Brody Eldridge registered his first NFL catch in the second quarter.

--WR Anthony Gonzalez (ankle) was a pregame inactive.

--S Bob Sanders (biceps) was a pregame inactive.

--Rookie S Brandon King (hamstring) was a pregame inactive.

--LB Clint Session (hamstring) was a pregame inactive.

--Rookie G Jacques McClendon was a pregame inactive.

--Charlie Johnson (foot) was a pregame inactive.

--WR Pierre Garcon (hamstring) was a pregame inactive.

--Rookie DE Ricardo Mathews was a pregame inactive.

--Rookie DE Jerry Hughes was active for his first NFL regular season game. Hughes had been a pregame inactive for the Houston and New York Giants games.

--LB Ramon Humber (hand) was waived/injured before the Denver game.
