--Coach Tony Sparano won't be afraid to insert QB Chad Henne if starter Chad Pennington is floundering at any time this season. "Chad Henne is a guy who won't be comfortable in that position and will continue to chase Chad Pennington. Eventually, those two guys know, there'll be great competition out there. ... With [Henne] you see the ball jump off his hand and you see him making these throws against your defense," Sparano said.

--WR Ernest Wilford could hardly get on the field last season, but his agent Drew Rosenhaus is certain he will return to his Jaguars' form. "We anticipate that based on our discussions with the Dolphins that Ernest is coming back. Ernest is a hard worker. He'll have a great offseason. ... I would anticipate that Ernest will be one of the most improved guys on the team," Rosenhaus said.

--"It's a tough situation and you definitely don't want this hanging over your head going into another season, especially it being a couple of years past due. I would love to (play for the Dolphins). You know, I'm a Florida guy, always will be a Florida guy at heart. If it happens, I'll definitely be grateful." -- Cardinals disgruntled WR Anquan Boldin on his limbo-like status with Arizona

"They thought they had it in Wilford and I told Bill from Day One, 'Dude, what are you doing?' A lot of times you like certain things that you had before and you think somebody else can be that and it doesn't pan out." -- Former NFL receiver Keyshawn Johnson to Palm Beach Post when asked about the status of struggling receiver Ernest Wilford.
