Position Listing
Austin Reiter
News
Reiter played 33 snaps in the Browns' preseason opener last Thursday.

Reiter ended last season on Injured Reserve after he tore his ACL, but he's since recovered and is looking to bounce back. He played in almost half of Cleveland's offensive snaps during the first preseason game and will likely be one of the team's top backups.

Danny Shelton
News
Shelton (chest/ribs) won't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Shelton finished the week with a full practice after starting the week limited to avoid the injury designation. The 24-year-old was inactive for last week's loss to the Packers but should return to his starting role in Week 15.

Nate Orchard
News
Orchard (groin) was limited during Thursday's practice.

With dynamic edge rusher Myles Garrett (ankle) sidelined for at least the next two weeks, the Browns will expect Orchard to take on a bigger role on the defensive line. However, he hasn't been able to practice at full capacity since injuring his groin, although his limited participation in the last two days lends some optimism for his Week 1 status.

Duke Johnson
News
Johnson took six carries for eight yards and caught all four of his targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-21 overtime loss to the Packers.

Per usual, Johnson played second fiddle in the ground attack to Isaiah Crowell, who took 19 carries for 121 yards and added three catches for 10 yards. Meanwhile, Johnson finished third on the team in targets behind Corey Coleman and Josh Gordon, with the scatback's touchdown coming on a shovel pass from seven yards out. While DeShone Kizer now has two viable targets when he wants to push the ball downfield, Johnson is still the team's most trustworthy option for shorter passes over the middle. The Browns will host the Ravens in Week 15.

Kevin Hogan
News
Hogan (coach's decision) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Vikings in London.

After four appearances this season, including a start in Week 6, Hogan was relegated to third-string quarterback behind DeShone Kizer and Cody Kessler in advance of Week 7. Subsequently, Hogan will reside on the inactive list for a second straight contest, though there's no guarantee he'll stay there considering head coach Hue Jackson's quick trigger finger this season.

Josh Keyes
News
Keyes was waived by the Chargers on Tuesday, Ricky Henne of the Chargers' official site reports.

Keyes had a short stint in LA, playing only two games with the Chargers before being let go. The linebacker played exclusively on special teams and will now look for a similar role elsewhere in the league.

Victor Salako
No Updates
Chris Barker
News
Barker ruptured his left Achilles during Saturday's practice and was subsequently waived with an injury designation, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Barker will be added to Cleveland's injured reserve if he goes unclaimed on waivers, which seems likely since he'll miss the entirety of the 2017-18 season. The 26-year-old lineman was signed this offseason to provide depth to the offensive line.

Injury
Achilles - Injured Reserve
JC Tretter
News
Tretter (knee/shoulder/quadriceps) is active Sunday against the Jaguars.

Tretter sat out the first two practices of the week, but toughed it out and got in a full day of work Friday. He'll suit up Sunday as a result, taking on his regular role as the starting center against one of the toughest defensive fronts in the league.

Jamar Taylor
News
Taylor was held out of practice Wednesday with a foot injury, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

The cornerback likely sustained the injury in Sunday's overtime loss to the Packers, during which Taylor finished with three tackles. It's too early to predict if the foot issue will prevent him from taking part in the Week 15 matchup with the Ravens, but Taylor's lack of turnover production -- he's recorded no interceptions and one forced fumble in 13 games this season -- will probably take him off the IDP radar in any case.

Injury
Foot - Did Not Practice on Friday. Questionable for Week 15 vs. Baltimore
Darius Jackson
News
Jackson (knee) cleared waivers and reverted to the Browns' injured reserve.

Jackson was waived Thursday after the 2016 sixth-round pick injured his knee. Unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team, he'll likely be stuck on injured reserve for the entire season.

Injury
Knee - Injured Reserve
Ian Silberman
News
Silberman was waived by the Colts on Friday, Andrew Walker of the team's official site reports.

Silberman will be eligible to sign elsewhere if he clears waivers.

Josh Gordon
News
Gordon caught three of six targets for 69 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-21 overtime loss to the Packers.

Gordon picked up 38 yards on Cleveland's first snap and finished the opening drive with an 18-yard score, but Corey Coleman and Duke Johnson played larger roles in the passing game for the rest of the afternoon. Gordon still finished tied with Coleman for the team lead in targets, with DeShone Kizer attempting only 28 passes in a game that saw Isaiah Crowell rumble for 121 yards on 19 carries. Gordon gets a trickier matchup Week 15 against Baltimore, though the Ravens did recently lose top cornerback Jimmy Smith to a torn Achilles.

Charley Hughlett
No Updates
Deon King
News
The Browns placed King on waivers Wednesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

King suited up for just four games this season, but he only played three defensive snaps. If he clears waivers, there's a good chance he returns to the Browns' practice squad.

DeShone Kizer
News
Kizer completed 20 of 28 passes for 214 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions, adding two carries for seven yards, in Sunday's 27-21 overtime loss to the Packers.

Kizer led long marches that culminated with touchdown passes on two of Cleveland's first three drives, but he struggled thereafter and eventually threw a terrible interception in overtime to essentially hand Green Bay the game. While he still finished with three passing scores for the first time in his career, Kizer ultimately didn't help his post-2017 cause. Head coach Hue Jackson recently acknowledged the possibility that Cleveland uses its first-round pick on a signal caller, though he also said that he still believes Kizer has the potential to become a franchise quarterback.

Matt Hazel
News
Hazel is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens with a hamstring injury.

Hazel joined the Browns' 53-man roster from the Colts' practice squad, and promptly found himself a limited practice participant. The 25-year-old is unlikely to have a significant offensive role regardless of whether he is available to suit up.

Injury
Hamstring - Limited Practice on Friday. Questionable for Week 15 vs. Baltimore
Christian Kirksey
News
Kirksey racked up 10 tackles (six solo) during Sunday's 27-21 overtime loss to the Packers.

The 25-year-old linebacker has 111 combined tackles on the season, including 37 over the past four weeks. He, along with Joe Schobert, played every defensive snap for the Browns, and he continues to be a productive source of tackles in IDP leagues.

Reggie Porter
News
The Browns signed Porter off the Ravens' practice squad Wednesday.

Cleveland had room on its 53-man roster after 2016 first-round pick Corey Coleman (hand) was moved to injured reserve. Porter will slot in as a depth cornerback, but he'll probably see most of his snaps on special teams.

Injury
Achilles - Injured Reserve
Tank Carder
News
Carder (knee) was placed on the Browns' injured reserve after tearing his ACL in Monday's exhibition matchup versus the Giants, Tom Withers of the Aurora Sentinel reports.

Carder, a special teams' captain last season, was competing with Joe Schobert for the starting middle linebacker role. He has played in 77 games with the team since 2012, but will now be sidelined until next season.

Injury
Knee - ACL - Injured Reserve
Larry Ogunjobi
News
Ogunjobi (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Lions.

Ogunjobi was unable to return to full strength during the Browns' bye week, so he'll miss his second consecutive tilt due to the groin injury. Danny Shelton and Trevon Coley figure to assume their starting roles at defensive tackle once again.

Matt Lengel
News
The Browns signed Lengel to the 53-man roster Wednesday.

Lengel gets the call-up from the practice squad and will step in as the No. 4 tight end on the depth chart. However, he isn't worth fantasy consideration at this juncture.

Bug Howard
News
Howard signed with the Browns' practice squad Tuesday.

Howard was originally signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina but was unable to make the team's final roster. He'll serve as an emergency option at wide receiver in Cleveland as part of their practice roster.

Carl Nassib
News
Nassib is in line to start in place of Emmanuel Ogbah (foot) for the remainder of the season, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.

With Ogbah on the shelf for the rest of the 2017 season with a broken foot, Nassib -- a second-year defensive end out of Penn St. -- will be inserted into the starting lineup. Ogbah was tied for the team lead with four sacks, while Nassib has accumulated two of his own off the bench. He'll try to add to that against the Bengals on Sunday.

Myles Garrett
News
Garrett (ankle) wasn't listed on the Browns' injury report Wednesday.

Garrett tweaked his left ankle during Sunday's loss to the Chargers and appeared bothered by the injury throughout the game. Three days later, however, Garrett showed no ill effects at practice, clearing the way for him to play Week 14 against the Packers. Garrett could be in store for a big day against a Green Bay offensive line that has surrendered 42 sacks this season, the second-most in the NFL.

Lavar Edwards
News
Edwards signed a contract Wednesday with the Browns, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.

Edwards has yet to play in an NFL game in 2017, but has accrued 22 appearances across stops with four teams the past four seasons. The 27-year-old should fill a depth role for the Browns along the defensive line.

Trevon Coley
News
Coley (neck) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the Vikings in London.

Through the first seven games of the season, Coley earned the second-highest share (62 percent) of the defensive snaps among Browns defensive linemen, which translated to 19 tackles, one sack and one fumble recovery. He's joined by fellow defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi (groin) on the inactive list, thereby allowing Danny Shelton and Jamie Meder to man the starting spots at the position in Week 8.

Ricardo Louis
News
Louis played just four offensive snaps and finished without a catch or target during Sunday's 27-21 overtime loss to Green Bay.

Josh Gordon and Rashard Higgins have jumped past Louis on the depth chart, so much so that the second-year pro out of Auburn is having a tough time finding the field. The 23-year-old has just one reception over his past three games, and Sunday marked his second straight game without a target. Coach Hue Jackson has been fluid with his wide receivers all year long, so there's still hope Louis gets involved again, but his involvement would be limited to the No. 3 wideout spot if that should happen.

T.Y. McGill
News
McGill was waived by the Browns on Wednesday, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.

McGill logged one tackle in three games for the Browns this season. The Browns will replace him on the 53-man roster with offensive lineman Geoff Gray.

Dominique Alexander
News
Alexander (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Alexander left Sunday's loss to the Bengals with the knee injury and was unable to return, and it looks like he'll be done for the remainder of the regular season. The Browns promoted Deon King from their practice squad Tuesday for added depth to their linebacking unit.

Injury
Knee - Injured Reserve
Randall Telfer
News
Telfer (undisclosed) wasn't listed on the Browns' injury report Wednesday.

Telfer left Week 13 game against the Chargers with a suspected concussion, but head coach Hue Jackson later indicated the tight end was dealing with a separate injury. Whatever that injury was, it apparently wasn't significant, as Telfer's full practice puts him on track to play Sunday against the Packers. With just two receptions and no red-zone targets through 12 games this season, Telfer functions mostly as a blocker for the Browns.

Matt Dayes
News
Dayes did not record an offensive snap during Sunday's 31-28 loss to Indianapolis.

Dayes was limited to special teams duty on Sunday. It's worth noting that the Browns' two lead backs carried the ball just 14 times total, while Cleveland passed with its rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer 47 times and ran him on another seven occasions. When the likes of Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson aren't getting touches, it's hard to see any room in the mix for Dayes.

Jason McCourty
News
McCourty accumulated a team-high 10 tackles (eight solo) during Sunday's 27-21 overtime loss to Green Bay.

A week after posting a season-high nine tackles, McCourty bested that effort against the Packers. The nine-year pro has 19 tackles over his last two contests and 51 for the year. He'll look to continue his hot streak Sunday against the Ravens.

Joe Schobert
News
Schobert compiled nine tackles (four solo) against the Packers on Sunday.

Schobert played all 76 defensive snaps Sunday. The Wisconsin product now has nine or more tackles in seven of his last eight outings and continues to be a top IDP asset across all formats.

Kai Nacua
News
Nacua was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster Friday.

Nacua signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent this out of BYU this offseason. He recorded nine tackles while playing for them in the preseason.

Roderick Johnson
News
Johnson (knee) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Andrew Gribble of the Browns' official site reports.

The rookie offensive tackle was injured during the preseason finale against the Bears and was subsequently placed on IR. The Browns' fifth-round pick (160th overall) was expected to back up and learn from Joe Thomas, but that will have to wait until at least the 2018 season.

Injury
Knee - Injured Reserve
Jabrill Peppers
News
Peppers (knee) won't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Peppers started the week as a limited participant but faced no limitations Friday to avoid the questionable tag. The rookie first-round pick sat out last week's loss to the Packers but appears ready to return to his starting.

James Burgess
News
Burgess made nine tackles (five solo) in Sunday's overtime loss to the Packers.

Burgess played 71 of 76 defensive snaps Sunday, tying his season-high and allowing him to post the second-best tackle total of his career. He'll have a tough Week 15 matchup against the Ravens and RB Alex Collins, who has been tough to tackle of late.

Michael Jordan
News
Jordan (concussion) was listed as a full participant in Thursday's practice, Myles Simmons of the Rams' official site reports.

Jordan went down last week against the Seahawks. However, his full participation Thursday suggests he isn't in line to miss any time.

Derron Smith
News
Smith (knee) won't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Smith sat out last week's loss to the Bengals, but he finished this week as a full participant to avoid the questionable tag. The 25-year-old has two tackles in two game since joining the Browns in early November.

Austin Calitro
News
Calitro signed a contract Monday with the 49ers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Calitro agreed to terms with San Francisco after the team placed Malcolm Smith (pectoral) on injured reserve. In all likelihood, Calitro will see most of his duties on special teams if he makes the 53-man roster out of training camp.

Danny Vitale
News
Vitale (ankle) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Mary Kat Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.

Vitale had returned to practice Wednesday but was a limited participant, so he's certainly trending in the right direction with respect to being available for Sunday's season opener against the Steelers. The second-year fullback did not record a carry in nine games for the Browns last season, but he did notch four receptions for 27 yards.

Jamie Collins
News
Collins underwent surgery two weeks ago to repair MCL damage in his right knee, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.

Collins, who was spotted in Cleveland's locker room Wednesday with crutches and his right leg immobilized, was placed on injured reserve about three weeks ago and won't return this season. The knee operation likely means that Collins' recovery timetable will be measured in months rather than weeks, but the Browns are hopeful that the linebacker will be back to full strength for the start of the 2018 campaign.

Injury
Knee - MCL - Injured Reserve
Jamie Meder
News
The Browns placed Meder (ankle) on injured reserve Tuesday.

The high-ankle sprain Meder suffered in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars was likely to keep him sidelined for at least one game, so the Browns decided to shut down the reserve lineman for good in order to free up a roster spot for a healthy player. Meder finishes the 2017 campaign with 13 tackles across 10 games.

Injury
Ankle - Injured Reserve
Isaiah Crowell
News
Crowell took 19 carries for 121 yards and caught all three of his targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 27-21 overtime loss to the Packers.

It was also a nice afternoon for Duke Johnson, who had six carries for eight yards and four catches for 41 yards and a touchdown on four targets. Crowell picked up 67 of his rushing yards on a single drive in the third quarter, highlighted by a 37-yard scamper that came up just six yards shy of the end zone. Crowell still hasn't scored since Week 10, but he's at least piled up 95 or more scrimmage yards in four of the last six games. He'll have a tough matchup in Week 15 against the Ravens, facing a defense that held him to 10 carries for 37 yards (and no receptions) back in Week 2.

Justin Currie
News
The Browns promoted Currie from their practice squad Friday.

Currie, who previously appeared in one game for Cleveland earlier this season, will rejoin the team to provide added depth at safety with starter Jabrill Peppers (knee) doubtful to play Sunday against the Packers.

Shon Coleman
News
Coleman (concussion) is active Sunday against the Jaguars.

Though Coleman appears to have cleared concussion protocol after logging a limited practice Friday, he's not in line for many snaps as the team's backup offensive tackle.

B.J. Bello
No Updates
Joel Bitonio
News
Bitonio (knee) was a full participant in practice Friday.

Bitonio looks to be on track to play Sunday against the Steelers after practicing on a limited basis Wednesday and Thursday.

Seth DeValve
News
DeValve played 43 percent (25 of 58) of the team's offensive snaps and caught two of three targets for 16 yards during Sunday's 27-21 loss to the Packers.

While DeValve and rookie tight end David Njoku usually split playing time, the former was actually out-snapped by blocking tight end Randall Telfer, as well. This could've been due to the game script and playcalling by coach Hue Jackson, but this is definitely something to keep an eye on going forward. The 24-year-old tight end has 28 receptions for 351 yards and a touchdown in his second year out of Princeton.

Caleb Brantley
News
Brantley sat out of practice Tuesday due to a shoulder injury, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Just one day after returning from a finger injury, Brantley is out again. Thankfully, the team thinks he'll be fine and expects him to return soon.

David Njoku
News
Njoku (foot/wrist) practiced fully Friday and doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Neither injury looks like it will inhibit Njoku in Week 15, but his inconsistent production in recent games will make him a high-variance fantasy play at tight end. After turning in back-to-back four-catch outings in Weeks 12 and 13, Njoku failed to make an impact in the Browns' loss to the Packers last Sunday, hauling in just one of two targets for three yards.

Zach Banner
News
Banner was claimed off waivers by the Browns on Monday, Dan Labbe of Cleveland.com reports.

Banner was brought into Cleveland for added depth on the offensive front, but don't expect the 2017 fourth-round pick to make any moves for a starting role anytime soon.

Spencer Drango
No Updates
C.J. Smith
News
Smith was signed by the Eagles from the practice squad Thursday, Martin Frank of the Delaware News Journal reports.

While starting cornerback Leodis McKelvin nurses a hamstring injury, the Eagles will promote Smith as a depth option in the secondary.

Corey Coleman
News
Coleman caught five of six targets for 62 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-21 overtime loss to the Packers.

Coleman tied for the team target lead with Josh Gordon, who caught three passes for 69 yards and a score of his own. From Coleman's perspective, it was a big improvement from the previous week, when Gordon held an 11-4 edge in targets. Given the lack of complementary options in the receiving corps, Cleveland should be able to keep both wideouts busy throughout December, including in Week 15 against a Ravens team that recently lost top cornerback Jimmy Smith to a torn Achilles.

Laurence Gibson
No Updates
Josh Rounds
News
The Browns signed Rounds to their practice squad Wednesday.

Rounds, an undrafted rookie out of Tulane, spent the preseason with the Bears, averaging just 2.3 yards per carry on 36 attempts. The Browns will oversee Rounds' development on the practice squad for now, but even if he gets promoted to the 53-man roster at some point, he's unlikely to have much of a role in Cleveland's offensive game plans.

Cody Kessler
News
Kessler was on the field for seven plays in replace of DeShone Kizer (ribs) and completed 1 of 3 passes for five yards during Sunday's 38-24 loss to the Lions.

When Kizer left the game with a rib injury, Kessler was called on to replace the rookie, though the former USC quarterback ultimately failed to move the ball as well as his teammate. He was sacked three times during his seven plays of action while completing just one pass. Kizer is confident he'll be able to suit up Sunday against Jacksonville, meaning Kessler will once again be destined for backup duties.

Sammie Coates
News
Coates failed to play a snap during Sunday's 27-21 loss to the Packers.

Though the wideout was active for the first time since Week 11, Coates was relegated to sideline duty and finished the game without playing a single snap. Even with the Browns waiving Kenny Britt, Coates is still buried on the depth chart, and that doesn't figure to change in the near future.

Joe Thomas
Injury
Britton Colquitt
News
Colquitt is being checked for a concussion during Sunday's game against the Bengals, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Colquitt has booted 54 punts this season, landing 16 inside the 20 yard line for an average of 48.9 yards per punt. Kicker Zane Gonzalez has taken over the punting duties and will continue to until Colquitt can return.

Marcus Martin
No Updates
Darius Hillary
News
Hillary was waived by the Browns on Saturday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Hillary was called up by the Browns during their Week 9 bye. He failed to actually suit up for any contest until last week's loss against the Packers. The 24-year-old will presumably clear waivers and either revert to the practice squad or look for a new destination.

Injury
Knee - Limited Practice on Friday. Questionable for Week 15 vs. Baltimore
Jacob Hagen
No Updates
Emmanuel Ogbah
News
Ogbah (foot) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Ogbah is scheduled to undergo surgery in the near future to repair a fractured right foot, which he sustained in Sunday's 19-7 loss to the Jaguars. The second-year defensive end, who was enjoying a productive campaign with 29 tackles, four sacks and two forced fumbles in 10 games, is expected to require 3-to-4 months to heal up from the procedure.

Kevin Zeitler
News
Zeitler (thumb) practiced in full Friday and is expected to be ready to play Sunday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Zeitler is expected to start at right guard Sunday, but don't be surprised if there's some sort of extra protection for his thumb.

Kasen Williams
News
The Browns will waive Williams on Thursday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Williams' dismissal likely paves the way for fellow wideout Corey Coleman (hand) to return from injured reserve in advance of Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Since turning in back-to-back four-reception outings in Weeks 5 and 6, Williams had seen his role within the Cleveland passing attack fall by the wayside, earning one total target over the Browns' subsequent three contests.

Briean Boddy-Calhoun
News
Boddy-Calhoun (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Boddy-Calhoun did not practice this week and could potentially be ruled out come Saturday. Jason McCourty and Mike Jordan are the Browns' only fully healthy cornerbacks heading into Sunday's game.

Derrick Kindred
News
Kindred (ankle) has been an active participant in OTAs, Nate Ulrich of The Akron Beacon-Journal reports.

Kindred broke his ankle in Week 13 last season and ultimately ended 2016 on injured reserve. His participation in OTAs suggests he's since been cleared by team doctors to return to football activities.

Zane Gonzalez
News
Gonzalez didn't attempt a field goal but converted all three of his extra-point attempts during Sunday's 27-21 overtime loss to the Packers.

Though the Browns were surprisingly able to move the ball against the Packers, none of Cleveland's drives resulted in a field-goal attempt. Gonzalez has just one attempt over the last two weeks and shouldn't be considered in any fantasy format.

Howard Wilson
News
Wilson (knee) was moved to the regular season PUP list Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Wilson, who broke his kneecap in rookie minicamp, was never removed from the preseason PUP list. He won't be eligible to return to game action until Week 7.

Rashard Higgins
News
Higgins was on the field for 57 percent of the team's offensive snaps but wasn't targeted during Sunday's 19-10 loss to the Chargers.

Higgins has officially supplanted Ricardo Louis on the depth chart, as he once again played a plethora of more snaps Sunday. Still, despite playing over 50 percent of the plays on offense, DeShone Kizer never looked his way. Most of Kizer's targets were directed toward Josh Gordon, and it may be tough sledding for Higgins going forward.
