Position Listing
Jalston Fowler
News
Fowler failed to catch his lone target and didn't get any action on the ground in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Dolphins.

Fowler rarely gets to touch the ball, as the primary function of his fullback job is to block for Tennessee's rushing attack. He'll remain a fantasy afterthought unless both DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry go down at the running back position.

Da'Norris Searcy
News
Searcy agreed to reduce his 2017 base salary from $5.625 million to $3.4 million, ESPN.com's Field Yates reports.

Searcy also accepted a pay cut from $6.125 million to $3.8 million for 2018, with the ability to recover up to $750,000 through incentives in both years. He's been a disappointment since signing a four-year, $23.75 million deal with the Titans in 2015, recording 95 tackles and two interceptions in 29 games (27 starts). With Johnathan Cyprien signed in March and 2016 third-round selection Kevin Byard hoping to take on an expanded role, Searcy could face serious competition for a starting job.

Jurrell Casey
News
Casey (back) recorded seven tackles (five solo) and a sack in Sunday's 57-14 loss to the Texans.

Casey had a productive game despite missing some practice time with a back injury. His tackles total has climbed every week and the sack was Casey's first of the season. The talented defensive lineman has racked up at least 5.0 sacks and 44 tackles in each of the past four seasons, so expect a few more performances like this one moving forward.

Curtis Riley
News
Riley was promoted to the Titans' active roster on Thursday.

Riley got the call up from the practice squad after Chance Warmack (finger) was placed on IR. The 2015 undrafted free agent spent last season on IR after suffering an ankle injury in August, ending his rookie season hardly before it get started. Riley has played both cornerback and safety in the Titans' defense but figures to contribute the most in special teams this season.

Kevin Dodd
News
Dodd (undisclosed) wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Dodd hasn't suited up since Week 3 against the Seahawks, where he played just 21 total snaps and made one solo tackle. With starting outside linebacker Derrick Morgan (abdomen) sitting out of practice Wednesday, though, Dodd could play serious snaps Sunday against the Browns.

Adoree' Jackson
News
Jackson will start at cornerback against the Jaguars on Sunday, Jason Wolf of The Tennessean reports.

Jackson started in Sunday's loss to the Raiders and apparently impressed defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau enough to retain the starting role, even with LeShaun Sims (groin) no longer limited in practice. Week 2 is a more favorable matchup for the rookie against the Jaguars, especially with Allen Robinson (knee) lost for the season.

Sylvester Williams
News
Williams was a limited participant at practice Tuesday due to the recent ankle surgery that he underwent, Terry McCormick of TitansInsider.com reports

It doesn't appear that Williams will be hampered too much from the setback. The Titans expect him to be a full go in the coming days.

Avery Williamson
News
Williamson had seven tackles (five solo) in Sunday's Week 17 win over the Texans.

Williamson finishes his third NFL campaign with 103 tackles and 2.0 sacks. Seventy-two of those tackles were of the solo variety, placing the middle linebacker among the league's top 30 tacklers. He has improved every season, and should once again anchor the Titans defense next year.

David Fluellen
News
Fluellen rushed once for three yards and wasn't targeted in the passing game during Sunday's 57-14 loss to Houston.

Fluellen continues to sit a distant third on the running back depth chart behind DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry. Neither Murray nor Henry were able to get anything going, totaling 31 and seven yards on the ground, respectively.

Wesley Woodyard
News
Woodyard contributed eight tackles (six solo) and a fumble recovery in Monday's 36-22 win over the Colts.

This was just another day at the office for Woodyard, whose 49 tackles through six weeks have him on pace for a whopping 131. Even if he slows down a bit moving forward, the veteran linebacker should easily finish with over 80 tackles for the sixth time in his career. Woodyard's fumble recovery came on a third-quarter fumble by tight end Jack Doyle and helped set up one of Ryan Succop's five field goals.

Daren Bates
News
Bates (knee) is ready to go for Monday's contest against the Colts, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

After a healthy week of practice, Bates was a late addition to the injury report Saturday. It looks like the team was just being cautious with his designation, as he is suiting up for Week 6. Look for him to resume his role providing depth at linebacker.

Aaron Wallace
News
Wallace (back) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Wallace was able to play in two games this season. He recorded one solo tackle while playing most of his snaps on special teams.

Injury
Back - Injured Reserve
Harry Douglas
News
Douglas (knee) was placed on injured reserve Sunday, Jim Wyatt of TitansOnline.com reports.

Douglas was placed on IR to make room for the signing of Eric Weems, who was originally among the team's final roster cuts. Because of the timing of the move, the Titans will have the opportunity to recall Douglas from IR and back onto the active roster this season if the wideout becomes healthy enough to return.

DaQuan Jones
News
Titans defensive tackle DaQuan Jones just got a promotion, and like anyone would be, he's happy about it, The Tennessean reports.

Jones is eager to showcase why he deserves his starting role, but he's also very aware that the season is a long ways ahead and anything can happen between now and then.

"I'm happy to go into the (OTAs) as a starter, but I know that nothing is set in stone and I know there's plenty of competition for that job," said Jones. "So now I'm just trying to make the most of my opportunity."

Jones, a fourth-round pick last season, played sparingly in the beginning of his rookie year -- appearing in just four of the team's first 13 games. He improved toward the end of the season and got his first start during the last game of the year against the Colts. Jones said he wants to continue to improve and show he can be a force on the defensive line.

"Right now I'm trying to work a lot on my base technique, trying to shed blocks faster and make plays," Jones said. "I'm trying to go into the season and be a playmaker."

Kevin Byard
News
Byard recorded five tackles (four solo), including one tackle for loss, while adding a fumble recovery in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Dolphins.

Byard's biggest contribution came on the recovery of a Jay Ajayi fumble, but it wasn't enough to swing the outcome in this defensive struggle. The second-year safety remains on pace for over 100 tackles.

Jonnu Smith
News
Smith caught two of four targets for 22 yards in Sunday's 12-9 overtime win at Cleveland.

Smith wasn't a major contributor here, but he could be in for an expanded role in the coming weeks. Top tight end Delanie Walker exited this one with a sprained ankle and Smith would inherit a lot of extra snaps should Walker sit. Tennessee's on bye next week, but Smith would be a solid streamer afterwards if Walker still isn't healthy.

Antwaun Woods
News
Woods (hip) wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report.

The second-year defensive tackle has been relegated to the practice squad and looks to battle for an activation in 2017.

Corey Davis
News
Davis (hamstring), who has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Browns, expects that he'll be ready to play in the Titans' following contest Nov. 5 against the Ravens, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.

Though he'll miss his fifth straight game Sunday, Davis said Wednesday that he's "real close" to returning to action, and the Titans' Week 8 bye is expected to provide him with enough time to get his hamstring 100 percent healthy. His availability for the game against Baltimore will ultimately be dictated by his participation in practice leading up to that contest, but with things seemingly trending in the right direction on the health front, Davis could make for an attractive stash in fantasy leagues if a frustrated owner sent him to the waiver wire. Upon returning to action, Davis should step back into a starting role after impressing with six catches for 69 yards in Week 1, his only full NFL game to date.

Injury
Hamstring - Inactive for Week 7 at Cleveland
Matt Cassel
News
Cassel completed 21 of 32 passes for 141 yards with a touchdown and a lost fumble in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Dolphins.

Two plays after having a 59-yard touchdown pass to Delanie Walker erased on an offensive pass interference penalty, Cassel had a strip-sack fumble returned for a 38-yard Miami touchdown. He failed to get Tennessee's wide receivers involved early, throwing 10 of his 12 first-half completions to tight ends or running backs as his team went into the break trailing 10-3. While he erased that deficit with an 11-yard touchdown to tight end Phillip Supernaw in the third quarter, Cassel was unable to produce any more points the rest of the way. It's clear the Titans need Marcus Mariota to come back from his hamstring strain as quickly as possible, as the 35-year-old Cassel doesn't have much left in the tank.

Phillip Supernaw
News
Supernaw caught both of his targets for 16 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Dolphins.

Supernaw's 11-yard score was the first of his career. The blocking specialist remains a distant third behind Delanie Walker and Jonnu Smith on the tight end depth chart, which makes sense considering the 27-year-old Supernaw has never topped four catches or 62 yards in a season.

Brynden Trawick
News
Trawick agreed to a 2-year, $4.75 million deal with the Titans on Friday.

Trawick will earn a $3 million base salary, and could see some playing time on defense after earning praise from GM Jon Robinson. The safety was limited primarily to a special teams role with the Raiders last season, but did manage to lead the team with 14 special teams tackles.

Darius Jennings
News
Jennings was promoted to the active roster Saturday, Jim Wyatt of TitansOnline.com reports.

The well-traveled Jennings has only appeared in four career games despite having spent time in Cleveland, Chicago and with the Jets. He's projects to serve as a last-ditch offensive effort at receiver Sunday, so it's wise to keep him off your radars for now.

Injury
Coach's Decision - Inactive for Week 7 at Cleveland
Eric Weems
News
Weems re-signed with the Titans on Sunday, a day following his release Kevin Patra of NFL.comreports.

Weems signed with the Titans early in the offseason, but he ultimately was unable to make it through final cuts Saturday. However, a roster spot was made available after the team placed fellow receiver Harry Douglas on injured reserve Sunday. Thus, they opted to bring Weems back into the mix. He figures to play a special teams and depth-receiver role in the coming season.

Cody Wichmann
No Updates
Taylor Lewan
News
Lewan (knee) returned to Titans' practice as a full participant Friday, Jason Wolf of the Tennessean reports.

Lewan was forced out of a loss to the Dolphins in Week 5 after reinjuring his knee, and has been considered day-to-day throughout the week. It looks like the team was just being cautious with their starting tackle, as he now appears on track to suit up Sunday barring any setbacks.

Eric Decker
News
Decker caught seven of nine targets for 88 yards in Monday night's 36-22 win over the Colts.

Decker led the Titans across the board in receiving, topping the five-catch and 50-yard marks for the first time through six games in Tennessee. Although rookie Taywan Taylor caught the team's lone touchdown of the night, Decker will be happy with his improvement and look to build on Monday's performance against a dreadful Browns team this Sunday.

Brian Schwenke
News
Schwenke signed with the Titans on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Schwenke was released by the Colts during roster cuts but will remain in the AFC South as he joins the Titans to start the regular season. The 26-year-old offers the Titans a versatile backup who can play several different positions on the line. Last season he played in all 16 games, including three starts at left guard.

Nate Palmer
News
Palmer is dealing with an ankle injury and is considered questionable for Sunday's preseason game against the Bears, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.

It's unclear when exactly Palmer suffered the ankle injury, but it seems as though the Titans are exercising caution with the reserve linebacker. The 27-year-old appeared in 14 games for the Titans a season ago, logging 12 tackles.

Brian Orakpo
News
Orakpo recorded a sack and four tackles while hitting the quarterback twice overall in Sunday's 37-16 win at Jacksonville.

Orakpo and fellow outside linebacker Derrick Morgan were both able to get to quarterback Blake Bortles in this one. The duo provides a potent pass rush when both are healthy.

C.J. Board

Tajae Sharpe
News
The Titans placed Sharpe (foot) on injured reserve Saturday, The Tennessean reports.

After June surgery to repair a stress fracture in his right foot, Sharpe's preseason participation was delayed until Aug. 26, but he aggravated the injury during Thursday's exhibition finale. With his season over, his absence opens the door for Tre McBride and likely Harry Douglas (knee) to land on the 53-man roster.

Injury
Foot - Injured Reserve
Rishard Matthews
News
Matthews caught three of six passes for 40 yards in Sunday's 12-9 overtime win over Cleveland.

Probably Tennessee's most consistent outside threat, Matthews has been solid but unspectacular for much of this season. While he's topped 65 yards receiving and four catches thrice in seven games, he's scored just once. The smash-mouth style of play Tennessee leans on isn't particularly conducive to quality receiver play to begin with. The presence of tight end Delanie Walker and two up-and-coming rookies in Corey Davis and Taywan Taylor probably limit Matthews' ceiling even further.

Tye Smith
News
Smith (hand) was a full participant at Titans practice Thursday.

Smith has been dealing with a broken hand since early September but seems to be on track to play against the Seahawks on Sunday. The 24-year-old will likely return to his role of a reserve cornerback and special teams contributor if he is able to play.

Ben Jones
No Updates
Josh Carraway
News
Carraway was waived by the Titans on Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of TitansOnline.com reports.

A seventh-round selection in April's draft, Carraway was let go by the Titans in order to make room for quarterback Brandon Weeden on the active roster. The rookie linebacker was inactive for the first four games of the season.

Jayon Brown
News
Brown cleared the concussion protocol and will be available to return to Sunday's game against the Seahawks, USA Today's Jason Wolf reports.

Brown's head injury turned out to be just a minor issue as he immediately cleared through the league's concussion protocol, so he'll be eligible to resume his role as a depth linebacker and special teamer.

Brice McCain
News
McCain (knee) was able to return to Sunday's game against the Colts, Jim Wyatt of Titans Online reports.

McCain was forced to the sideline earlier in the contest due to a minor knee injury, but was eventually able to return and even record an interception. He'll likely be good to go in Week 12 against the Bears, barring any setbacks.

Derrick Henry
News
Henry ran for 13 yards on 13 carries and had two catches for 11 yards in Sunday's 12-9 overtime win over the Browns.

Henry has been all or nothing this season. In wins over Jacksonville in Week 2 and Indianapolis in Week 6, Henry averaged 6.8 yards per carry and scored both of his touchdowns. In the team's other five games, Henry has averaged 2.6 yards per carry and has topped 25 rushing yards just once. It's hard to predict which Henry will show up, but recent history is in his favor for the Titans' next game. He gets one of the league's worst rush defenses in Baltimore after next week's bye.

Delanie Walker
News
Walker, who caught seven of his 10 targets for 63 yards in Sunday's 12-9 overtime win over the Browns, is dealing with a sprained right ankle, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.

Walker, who was listed as questionable with a calf issue in advance of the contest, was injured late in Sunday's game. On the plus side, with the Titans heading into their bye week, the tight end will now have added time to recover from his ankle sprain.

Injury
Ankle - Questionable for Week 9 vs. Baltimore
Josh Kline
No Updates
LeShaun Sims
News
Sims (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's season opener against the Raiders, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Sims has not practiced at all this week after suffering a groin injury Monday, so his absence doesn't necessarily come as a surprise. Rookie cornerback Adoree Jackson is expected to get the start Sunday in Sims' absence.

Karl Klug
News
Klug (groin) will play in Sunday's preseason game against the Bears, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.

This doesn't come as much of a surprise, considering Klug returned to practice this past week after suffering a minor groin injury. With his injury history, however, Klug will likely play limited snaps in Sunday's contest.

Alex Tanney
News
Tanney (foot) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Jason Wolf of the Tennessean reports.

Tanney broke his foot in the preseason finale. Since he's run out of practice squad eligibility, the Titans were able to retain Tanney's rights by keeping him on IR. Thus, don't expect an injury settlement to be in the news anytime soon.

Injury
Foot - Injured Reserve
Erik Walden
News
Walden (hamstring) doesn't appear on the injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans.

Walden gradually escalated his level of practice in each subsequent day this week, culminating in a full showing Friday. Thus, he's all systems go at present time.

Johnathan Cyprien
News
Cyprien (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Cleveland, Jason Wolf of The Tennessean reports.

There's an expectation Cyprien will return after the Titans' bye in Week 8 -- Nov. 5 against the Ravens -- so this decision was more or less expected. In his absence, Da'Norris Searcy will get the nod at strong safety.

Injury
Hamstring - Inactive for Week 7 at Cleveland
Ryan Succop
News
Succop made all five of his field goal attempts in addition to a trio of extra points in Monday's 36-22 win over the Colts.

Succop came into this contest with 46 consecutive field goals under 50 yards, which was tied with a streak Atlanta's Matt Bryant had a few years ago for the longest such streak in NFL history. The veteran kicker broke that tie with a successful 48-yarder in the first quarter, then piled on four more field goals from 42, 40, 48 and 23 yards to push his still-active mark to 51. Succop may not have one of the stronger legs in the NFL, but his record-setting accuracy puts him among the league's most trustworthy kickers.

Marcus Mariota
News
Mariota completed 21 of 34 passes for 203 yards and added an eight-yard run in Sunday's 12-9 overtime win over Cleveland.

It was the first time this season that Mariota did not throw or run for a touchdown and Cleveland isn't exactly the team that you'd expect to give Tennessee fits. The talented young signal-caller has done well in protecting the ball in Tennessee's run-heavy offense, but has accounted for multiple touchdowns in just two of six games. How much of that is accountable to Tennessee's scheme and how much of that is Mariota will become clearer after next week's bye, during which Mariota will get a chance to rest the hamstring he injured back in Week 4.

Ryan DiSalvo
News
DiSalvo (concussion) landed on the Titans' injured reserve Sunday after clearing waivers, Jimmy Morris of MusicCityMiracles.com reports.

DiSalvo went down with a concussion in the team's preseason finale against the Chiefs. He was ultimately waived/injured during the team's final roster cuts. He will remain on IR for the balance of the season unless both parties reach an injury settlement.

Derrick Morgan
News
Morgan (abdomen) is active for Sunday's game against the Browns, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Morgan won't miss a game due to this injury, but he may be limited in the outing. The eighth-year Titan has notched just 13 tackles (eight solo) so far this season, so even when he's fully healthy it's tough to see him as a real IDP threat.

Victor Ochi
News
Ochi (knee) was placed on injured reserve Monday after clearing waivers.

The Stony Brook University product made one tackle in the two NFL appearances he made last season, and he was vying for a special teams job. Preparing to miss the entire season, it's no surprise Ochi was untouched on waivers and sent to injured reserve.

Kalan Reed
News

Injury
Coach's Decision - Inactive for Week 7 at Cleveland
Brandon Weeden
News
Weeden signed a one-year contract with the Titans on Tuesday, Conor Orr of NFL.com reports.

Even with Marcus Mariota (hamstring) considered day-to-day after avoiding a serious injury in Sunday's loss to Houston, the Titans will still add insurance at the quarterback position in Weeden. The 33-year-old was most recently released by the Texans prior to the start of the regular season and will likely serve as Matt Cassel's backup this weekend in Miami should Mariota be ruled out.

Zach Pascal
News
Pascal was waived by Tennessee on Saturday, Jim Wyatt of TitansOnline.com reports.

Wyatt was let go in order to clear up room for recently promoted receiver Darius Jennings. Given his youth, there's a possibility another team will take a flyer on the 22-year-old.

Dennis Kelly
No Updates
Logan Ryan
News
Ryan defended two passes to go along with three solo tackles in Monday's win over the Colts.

Ryan's outing brings his passes defended total up to five on the season. The starting cornerback was one of three Titans to see all 58 defensive snaps.

David King
News
The Chiefs traded King to the Titans in exchange for a conditional 2018 seventh-round draft pick, Terry McCormick of 102.5 The Game reports.

King would likely have been waived by the Chiefs anyway, and the Titans likely won't lose anything if King doesn't make the team, so this move makes sense for both sides.

Injury
Coach's Decision - Inactive for Week 7 at Cleveland
DeMarco Murray
News
Murray rushed for 59 yards on 18 carries and added three catches for 17 yards in Sunday's 12-9 overtime win over Cleveland.

Murray has now been held under 60 yards rushing in four consecutive games. Yes, he is part of a two-headed backfield with Derrick Henry, but Henry has rushed for over 15 yards just once in that span. Murray's numbers look solid thus far this season, but over 20 percent of his rushing production came on one 75-yard touchdown against Seattle in Week 3. That one carry aside, Murray has actually been pretty pedestrian this season, averaging just 3.5 yards per carry on 85 carries. He'll get a needed reprieve after next week's bye against a Ravens squad that is among the NFL's worst against the run.

Beau Brinkley
News
Brinkley (groin) wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report and is expected to be available for Sunday's game against Oakland.

Brinkley will return to being a reserve lineman in Tennessee, and he should be grateful that this injury didn't lead to his departure from the program.

Taywan Taylor
News
Taylor caught three of four targets for 45 yards in Sunday's 12-9 overtime win at Cleveland.

Taylor finished second on his team in receiving yards to tight end Delanie Walker, putting in a serviceable performance after hauling in his first career touchdown in a career-best 61-yard effort last week. Fellow rookie wide receiver Corey Davis (hamstring) will likely be back after Tennessee's Week 8 bye, which is bad news for Taylor's playing time moving forward.
