GIF: Mikhail Grabovski nearly gouges Zack Smith's eye out in scrum
Capitals center Mikhail Grabovski earned a 10-minute misconduct for nearly gouging Senators center Zach Smith's eye in a scrum.
In the middle of a scrum the two players were having some words when a gloveless Grabovski reached out and nearly poked Smith's eye out. That will happen when you reach your bare hand out like a claw toward another man's face.

Grabovski was given a roughing minor and a 10-minute misconduct, bringing an end to his night earlier than anticipated. His early departure didn't help the Capitals in their quest to end a five-game losing streak as they ended up falling to the Senators 2-0 for a sixth-straight loss.
This isn't the first time that Grabovski has been involved with some kind of controversy involving faces and scrums. You'll recall that last season Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty accused Grabovski of biting his hand in the middle of a scrum.
Word to the wise: Just keep away from Mikhail Grabovski in a scrum.
