The Vegas Golden Knights are soaking up every bit of their NHL debut this preseason.
The same week they got a hat trick from rookie Tyler Wong and scored nine goals in their inaugural exhibition contest, the NHL expansion franchise is living it up on Twitter. After securing a second victory thanks to the shot of former Florida Panthers forward Jonathan Marchessault, Vegas got busy online, throwing some playful shots at the Montreal Canadiens and three NFL teams.
We won our 2nd game last night. For those keeping track, that's more than @Patriots, @dallascowboys or the Washington Pro Football Club 🏈

Note the omission of Washington's nickname.
Nothing was missing, however, from a jab at the Canadiens after a Habs fan informed the Golden Knights that they have a long way to go -- 22 title runs, to be specific -- before claiming bragging rights.
But we've also won two MORE times than @CanadiensMTL have won the Stanley Cup since 1993😎 https://t.co/BIQWecreHd

This isn't the first time the Golden Knights have gotten testy online. Earlier in September, the team was quick to poke fun at the San Jose Sharks for blowing leads in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
