NHL DFS: Best DraftKings, FanDuel daily fantasy hockey picks for November 10
SportsLine's Mike McClure, a DFS pro with almost $2 million in career winnings, gives optimal lineup advice
The 2018-19 NHL season rolls on with an eight-game slate for DFS on Saturday beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET. There will be stars like Penguins center Sidney Crosby in action as well as Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy. But before locking in your NHL DFS lineups for any kind of tournament, cash game or 50-50 on FanDuel or DraftKings, be sure to check out what Mike McClure has to say. He's a DFS millionaire and his NHL DFS picks have been on the money this season.
McClure is a DFS professional with nearly $2 million in career winnings. He's also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best NHL DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They're a must-see for any NHL DFS player.
On Friday, McClure recommended Ducks goalie Frederik Andersen. The result? Andersen made 38 stops on his way to a nearly 5x return on investment for FanDuel players.
For Saturday, McClure loves Panthers center Vincent Trocheck at $6,600 on FanDuel and $6,600 on DraftKings.
Trocheck dished out two assists in his most recent effort against the Oilers (McClure had him rostered on that Thursday night as well) and now he'll look to pick up where he left off against the Islanders. He's had 13 points in 13 career games against them in his young career.
McClure also likes Penguins defenseman Kris Letang ($6,400 on FanDuel, $6,600 on DraftKings), who continues to be one of the most prolific defenders in the league.
Letang continues to rack up points from the blue line, with 12 in 13 games this season, and he has a dream matchup on Saturday night. The Coyotes have given up eight goals in their last two games and Flyers defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere just scored a goal and dished out an assist against them on Monday.
McClure is also targeting an undervalued player who is set to go off for big numbers because of a dream matchup, and he comes at a price that will leave plenty of salary cap flexibility. Picks like these could be the difference between winning your cash games and tournaments or going home with nothing.
