Star Wars is really never out of the pop culture subconscious, but with new movies due out and "May the Fourth be With You" still fresh in our memories, it seems to be starting to take center stage once again. Perhaps capitalizing on that buzz or just because you can never go wrong with Star Wars, Bauer's latest goalie mask unveiling is sure to catch some attention.

The prominent hockey equipment manufacturer has unveiled a line of goalie masks painted with some of the most popular characters in the Star Wars galaxy. The series of masks available to the general public for purchase includes Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Boba Fett and Clone Storm Troopers.

Here’s a look at the Skywalker and Boba Fett models.

We’ve seen some NHLers in the past with Star Wars imagery on their masks, most recently Ilya Bryzgalov going with Yoda while with the Flyers, but I'm guessing there are a lot of beer league goalies that will be rushing to make their opponents jealous with these lids.

You can check the rest out up close here.
