VIDEO: Brad Marchand scores overtime winner for Bruins
Brad Marchand finally scored his first goal of the playoffs and it came at a great time for the Bruins. In overtime of Game 1 against the Rangers.
After hitting the post four times in the third period and overtime the Boston Bruins finally found a way to get a puck behind New York's Henrik Lundqvist and get it in the net. Late in the first overtime period Boston's Brad Marchand scored after a feed from Patrice Bergeron to give the Bruins a 3-2 win and an early lead in their Eastern Conference semifinal series.
After scoring 18 goals in 45 regular season games Marchand had yet to score in the postseason until his overtime goal on Thursday, and he certainly picked a great time to finally get one in.
He was probably one of Boston's best players on the night even before scoring the overtime winner.
