VIDEO: Dog can't get enough of watching the Minnesota Wild
Georges is from Minnesota and is a big hockey fan. Wearing his Mikko Koivu shirt, he watched Sunday's game on TV with a lot of excitement. Georges is also a dog.
Minnesota is the State of Hockey. They love it as evidenced by the devotion to high-school hockey in the state. Hockey is a way of life for a lot of people in Minensota.
Heck, even the dogs are big hockey fans in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, dogs like Georges, the Mikko Koivu jersey-wearing, Minnesota Wild-loving Golden Retreiver. He couldn't get enough of the Wild's game against the Predators on Sunday, hopping and bopping around the TV with the Wild on.
Dare I say he the dog was going Wild (too late, I just did)?
Now we've seen pets before that were fond of watching sports -- this cat was a personal favorite -- but Georges' enthusiasm needs to be applauded here. It was the final game of the season and not meaningful for either team in terms of the standings yet Georges was going crazy. I would love to see this dog in the playoffs.
