VIDEO: James van Riemsdyk's glove flies into stands after big hit
James van Riemsdyk was leveled by Bruins defenseman Johnny Boychuk Tuesday night in open ice, a hit big enough to send JVR's glove into the stands.
Or a glove belonging to James van Riemsdyk.
In Tuesday night's 4-3 Maple Leafs win in Boston, van Riemsdyk had a strong night. He also got rocked by Johnny Boychuk with a big hit. This didn't happen near the boards where it might be understandable that some piece of equipment might hop over and into the stands. Jack Edwards certainly enjoyed it even if JVR might not have.
