Video: The NHL lockout is done, so 'The Boys are Back'
Videos helped get us through the lockout and now they're welcoming hockey back.
One of the things that got us through the NHL lockout were the music videos and other videos from fans frustrated with the stoppage. Whether they were excellently made or just funny, the videos were certainly a part of the lockout this time around.
So it seems only fitting to have a hockey music video now that the hockey is back. That's where Boston's own Dropkick Murphys come in, providing the soundtrack with The Boys are Back. It certainly seems to fit hockey better than the Angels, but Thin Lizzy would have worked just as well.
Of course, it's heavy on the Bruins since the Dropkick Murp ... hey look! A Thrashers sighting!
