VIDEO: T.J. Oshie ties game with goal from his knees
T.J. Oshie is pretty talented. In Game 5 on Friday he scored a goal while on his knees to tie the game in the second period.
At this point we shouldn't be surprised by the things T.J. Oshie can do but then he scores a goal like he did in Game 5 on Friday night.
With the Blues down 1-0 in the game halfway home, Alex Steen (don't overlook his role in this gem of a play) sent a pass to Oshie in the slot and he did the rest from there. Getting around Niklas Hjalmarsson, Oshie lost his balance and fell to the ice.
No worries, he can score from his knees too. Oshie actually fanned on the first swipe he took while on the ice which might have been a good thing as it opened up a bit more of the cage even if the angle got sharper.
A second later it was in the back of the net. The American star apparently has some skills.
Though funny enough, Oshie had a wide open net later in the second period and missed. This is a weird sport sometimes.
