Watch Jordan Eberle score 3 goals in under 3 minutes

Not that we didn't already know this, but Jordan Eberle is too good to be playing in the American Hockey League.

As a result of the lockout, several of the Edmonton Oilers' best young players -- including Eberle, Taylor Hall, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Justin Schultz and Magnus Paajarvi -- have spent some time with the Oklahoma City Barons, dominating the league in a manner that should be expected from NHL talents.

Eberle has been perhaps the best of the bunch and added to his league-leading point total on Monday night with a four-point performance in a 5-2 win against the Texas Stars. Among the points for Eberle was a natural hat trick in the first period that saw him score all three goals in less than three minutes.

The first two goals set a franchise record coming just nine seconds apart. He completed the hat trick less than two minutes later.

The two minutes and 43 seconds that it took him to complete the hat trick was also a team record.

Here is a look at all three goals, via the Barons:

In 31 games in the AHL this season, Eberle has 23 goals and 24 assists (47 points).

He's coming off a breakout year in the NHL that saw him score 34 goals to go with 42 assists in Edmonton in 2011-12.
