Full preview of EA Sports' latest version of the game comes at the league's awards ceremony June 21

The cover athlete, release date and full preview of EA Sports' "NHL 18" will arrive at the NHL Awards show on June 21, the same night the league will reveal expansion draft selections by the Vegas Golden Knights.

But the first look at the game is here. Touting fundamental and freestyle hockey, it features Toronto Maple Leafs winger Mitch Marner scoring against the Ottawa Senators.
