Zach Sill has spent parts of the past two seasons playing on Pittsburgh's fourth line and was getting dangerously close to setting a new NHL record for most consecutive games to start a career without recording a point.

No goals. No assists. He was rarely even on the ice for a goal scored by his team.

But finally, after 47 consecutive games, he managed to get an assist on a Marcel Goc goal on Jan. 13 against the Minnesota Wild to get his first career point.

But the goal drought was still going. Well, on Wednesday night against the Chicago Blackhawks, in the 52nd game of his career, he beat Corey Crawford for his first NHL goal and didn't seem to know what to do in celebration. So he just blindly swung his stick through the air and nearly took off Bryan Bickell's head as he skated by.
