McGrattan is an old-school enforcer, as evidenced by his 609 PIM in 317 contests in the majors. McGrattan wasn't going to be much of a factor in the NHL this season, but this is still a pretty serious situation, although McGratten was able to regain full movement, so the worst has been avoided. Look for him remain sidelined with the San Diego Gulls indefinitely.
