  • Flyers' Dustin Tokarski: Traded to Philly, assigned to AHL

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(10/9/17) Tokarski was traded from the Ducks to the Flyers on Tuesday in exchange for future considerations. He's already been reassigned to the AHL's Phantoms.

Originally selected by the Lightning with a 2008 fifth-round pick, Tokarski has drawn into a mere 34 NHL games between the Lightning, Canadiens and Ducks. He's a depth goalie who has gone 10-12-5 with a 2.84 and .904 save percentage in his career.

Ducks' Dustin Tokarski: Designated for waivers

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(9/25/17) Tokarski was placed on waivers by the Ducks on Monday for the purpose of reassignment, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sportsreports.

Tokarski logged just one NHL contest for Anaheim last season -- instead spending the bulk of the 2016-17 campaign with AHL San Diego. While in the minors, the netminder went 17-8-1 with an .898 save percentage. Considering the Ducks brought in Ryan Miller to serve as the No. 2 behind John Gibson, fantasy owners should expect Tokarski to once again spend the year with the Gulls.

Ducks' Dustin Tokarski: Will be with Ducks into 2018

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/5/17) Tokarski signed a one-year extension with the Ducks on Thursday, Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Tokarski's contract was going to expire in the off season so the 27-year-old netminder will now be with the team until at least the summer of 2018. The Saskatchewan native has spent the majority of the 2016-17 campaign with AHL San Diego where he's gone 9-6-1 with a 3.29 GAA and .889 save percentage.

Ducks' Dustin Tokarski: Sent back to AHL

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(11/2/16) Tokarski was reassigned to AHL San Diego on Wednesday, Helene Elliott of the LA Times reports.

Tokarski filled in as the backup Tuesday against the Kings, but heads back to the minors without making an appearance on the ice this time around. The netminder is 2-1-0 in three games with the Gulls along with a disappointing 4.04 GAA and will likely spend the bulk of the season in the AHL, barring injuries. Tokarski's reassignment likely means that Jonathan Bernier (upper body) is at least healthy enough to dress for Wednesday's matchup with Pittsburgh.

Ducks' Dustin Tokarski: Recalled from minors

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(11/1/16) Tokarski was called up Tuesday from AHL San Diego.

Tokarski's promotion likely shows some concern from the Ducks about whether Jonathan Bernier (upper body) will be able to slot into the backup role behind John Gibson on Tuesday. If Bernier is in fact out long term, Tokarski could potentially start one of the two back-to-back games Tuesday and Wednesday. Even if the 27-year-old does get a starting nod, his fantasy value is limited as he will almost certainly head back to the minors as soon as Bernier is cleared to return.
