  • Ducks' Reto Berra: Latches on with Anaheim

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(7/5/17) Berra signed a one-year contract with the Ducks on Wednesday.

One of the NHL's nomadic goalies, Berra spent a decade playing in his home country of Switzerland before stints with the Flames, Avalanche and Panthers, respectively, from 2013-17. His career numbers include a 19-35-4 record, 2.88 GAA and .904 save percentage, suggesting that he may never evolve into a No. 1 goaltender. Anaheim's free-agent acquisition of veteran backstop Ryan Miller -- who will presumably back up John Gibson -- figures to make it that much more difficult for Berra to see NHL ice in 2017-18.

Panthers' Reto Berra: Allows three goals in loss to Habs

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/3/17) Berra saved 27 of 30 shots during Monday's loss to Montreal.

Berra has lost each of his past three starts with an .857 save percentage and 13 goals against. James Reimer (upper body) could return to action Thursday against the Blues, so Berra might be limited to a single start during Florida's back-to-back set to finish the season. However, considering his recent form, you will likely want to avoid relying on Berra in the majority of fantasy formats.

Panthers' Reto Berra: In goal Monday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/3/17) Berra will start in the crease Monday against the Canadiens, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.

Berra has started the last two contests for the Panthers, but the results were disastrous. He allowed 10 goals combined to the Canadiens and Bruins in those two tilts and has now lost four straight decisions in goal. Despite the poor play, he will give it a go again Monday against Montreal, who he allowed six goals to last Thursday.

Panthers' Reto Berra: Loses decision against Bruins

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/1/17) Berra allowed four goals on 28 shots in a 5-2 loss to the Bruins on Saturday.

There's no better option for the Panthers in net right now with both Roberto Luongo and James Reimer sidelined with injuries. In six appearances this season, Berra owns a 0-4-0 record, .870 save percentage and 3.54 GAA. While Florida might not have better options in net, fantasy owners would be wise to look for others vs. starting Berra.

Panthers' Reto Berra: Tasked with Bruins on Saturday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/31/17) Berra will start in goal Saturday, taking on the Bruins in an away game, Doug Plagens of Panthers Radio Network reports.

By default, Berra's the top option in goal for the Panthers with Roberto Luongo (lower body) and James Reimer (upper body) both ailing. However, Berra was destroyed by the Canadiens on Thursday, yielding six goals on 33 shots in a decision that officially bumped Florida out of the postseason race. He'll be tough to trust from a fantasy standpoint.
