Sanheim notched an assist in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Islanders in Game 4.
Sanheim has racked up three helpers in his last five games. The 24-year-old blueliner has six points (one goal, five assists), 29 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 13 contests. He's adjusted well to a top-pairing role, which has included chipping in on offense with some regularity.
Sanheim registered an assist in Friday's 3-2 win over the Canadiens in Game 6.
Sanheim set up Michael Raffl for the game-winning and series-clinching goal at 4:26 of the second period. The 24-year-old Sanheim had two assists in six games during the series, and he's managed a goal and three helpers in nine outings overall. The blueliner has added 12 shots on goal, 22 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating in the playoffs. He's skated more than 20 minutes in each of his last five games -- Sanheim is seeing an increased role in the Flyers' defense corps.
Sanheim registered an assist in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Canadiens in Game 1.
Sanheim set up Joel Farabee for what would be the game-winning goal at 14:54 of the second period. In four postseason games, Sanheim has a goal, two helpers, a plus-6 rating, eight shots and 13 blocked shots. He's playing a key role on the second pairing for the Flyers, although the blueliner had only 25 points in 69 regular-season contests, so his scoring pace could be expected to dip as the playoffs go on.
Sanheim had eight goals and 25 points in 69 games prior to the NHL suspending the season in March because of the coronavirus.
The 24-year-old heated up prior to the stoppage, tallying one goal and nine points with a plus-6 rating in 14 games. He won't match his 35 points from last season, but Sanheim could realistically score two more goals in the final 13 games to post 10 goals for the first time in his career. He also has a plus-4 rating, 32 PIM and 110 shots on net in 69 games this season.
Sanheim picked up two assists, one on the power play, in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Rangers.
It was a good day to be on the special teams units for either club -- of the eight goals scored between them, six came on the power play and one was a shortie. Sanheim is on a bit of a heater by his standards, scoring one goal and seven points in the last 10 games, and on the season the 23-year-old is up to 23 points (eight goals, 15 helpers) through 65 contests.
Sanheim has one goal and three points with a plus-3 rating in the last 10 games.
It's not quite the production he was experiencing earlier in the season, but Sanheim is putting together a strong campaign. He's just one goal shy of tying a career high, and he's on the verge of pushing his plus/minus out of the negative. Sanheim has eight goals and 18 points with a minus-1 rating in 58 games this season.
Sanheim had three shots on net with no points and one hit in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Penguins on Friday.
The 23-year-old has one assist in five games since scoring twice against the Bruins on Jan. 13. Even with three more shots Friday, Sanheim has a very high 8.5 shooting percentage, which just isn't sustainable for a defenseman. He's racking up more shots lately, but signs point to Sanheim experiencing a slower second half, especially if he doesn't get more helpers. He has seven goals and 16 points with a minus-2 rating in 51 games this season.
Sanheim scored two goals in Monday's 6-5 shootout win over the Bruins.
The blueliner was in the right place at the right time early in the second period and again midway through the third to score what proved to be the tying goal and complete a comeback from a 5-2 deficit. Sanheim has only seven goals and 15 points through 46 games on the season, but he has two two-goal performances in his last 10 contests.
Sanheim scored and tallied three shots on net but also posted a minus-3 rating in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Hurricanes on Tuesday.
The good news is Sanheim scored his first goal since Nov. 19, but he's now in the negative with his plus/minus. He owns a minus-6 rating in the last six games. Sanheim has five goals and 13 points with a minus-2 rating, 18 PIM and 69 shots in 43 games this season.
Sanheim has no points and a minus-3 rating in the last five games since posting three points on Dec. 23.
The 23-year-old had two goals and an assist versus the Rangers two weeks ago, but he hasn't been able to build off of that performance. He has four goals and 12 points with a plus-1 rating in 42 games this season. Sanheim is about where he should be with his goal scoring, but he had 35 points last year, so to regress to 12 points about halfway through 2019-20 is a major disappointment.
Sanheim scored twice and tallied a power-play assist in a 5-1 win over the Rangers on Monday.
The three points bring Sanheim up to 12, in 37 games. The 22-year-old defenseman has been largely a non-factor in fantasy this year, but Sanheim's big-time performance ahead of the holiday break could see him kick off the second half of the season with more confidence. His four shots versus the Rangers were most on the Flyers.
Sanheim has no goals and one assist with a plus-1 rating in his last eight games.
The 23-year-old broke a seven-game pointless streak Nov. 19 with a goal, and he added an assist two games later. However, since then, he's posted just one point. Early on during this dry spell, Sanheim was at least on the ice for some even-strength goals, which was helping his plus-minus, but he has a minus-2 rating in his last six games. Overall, he has two goals and eight points with a plus-2 rating in 31 games this season.
Sanheim scored just his second goal of the season in a loss to the Panthers on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old hits the quarter pole well behind his pace from last season. Sanheim had nine goals and 35 points in 2018-19, but he's on track for about eight goals and 23 points this season. His goal Tuesday was his first point since Nov. 2, and he only has two points in the last 11 games.
Sanheim posted a minus-4 rating and two shots on net with two hits in a 7-1 loss against the Penguins on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old has worked hard to get his positive rating this season, but that vanished in one horrible night at Pittsburgh. Sanheim is still looking for his first goal as well, but he does have four assists with an even rating and 18 shots on net in 11 contests. Sanheim probably won't match his nine goals from last season, but he is on pace for more shots on net.
Sanheim has an assist with a plus-1 rating and nine shots on net in the first five games this season.
The 23-year-old is getting more shots to the net early this season than he did in 2018-19, but it hasn't resulted in any goals yet. Sanheim was a bit of a slow starter last season too, though, so there isn't too much to be concerned about after five games. He posted nine goals and 35 points with a minus-4 rating in 82 games during his first full NHL season in 2018-19. With more minutes and shots, Sanheim has the potential to pass all of those totals in 2019-20.
Sanheim signed a two-year, $6.5 million extension with the Flyers on Monday.
This is a classic bridge deal for the 23-year-old blueliner. Sanheim's first full season in the NHL was a good one, as he dressed for all 82 games in 2018-19 and compiled 35 points.
Sanheim posted nine goals and 35 points with 133 blocked shots and 45 hits in 82 games this season.
Playing his first full NHL season -- and appearing in 32 more games than his rookie campaign of 2017-18 -- Sanheim saw the biggest increases in goals, points and blocked shots. He just turned 23, so he might still have some more untapped offensive potential, but Sanheim is most valuable in leagues with blocks -- his 133 redirected shots ranked third on the team.
Sanheim picked up an assist and recorded a plus-1 rating with three shots on net in a 4-3 loss to the Hurricanes on Saturday.
In his first full NHL season, the 23-year-old submitted a nice campaign with nine goals and 35 points. He went cold in March, but Sanheim recorded four assists in the last five games. Sanheim also posted a minus-4 rating, 121 shots on net, 133 blocks and 45 hits in 81 games this season.
Sanheim recorded two assists in Wednesday's 5-4 shootout win over the Maple Leafs.
The second-year defenseman hadn't hit the scoresheet in eight straight games coming into Wednesday. Sanheim has put together a solid campaign with nine goals and 33 points through 77 games despite little time on the top power-play unit for Philly, giving him definite sleeper potential in 2019-20 if his role continues to grow.
Sanheim posted two hits and a block in a 2-1 overtime victory against the Penguins on Sunday.
The 22-year-old doesn't have a point in the last four games, but he still has recorded five goals and 16 points in the last 22 contests. That's more than half of his offensive production, as Sanheim has nine goals and 31 points in 72 games. His shooting percentage is a little high for a defenseman at 8.9 percent, but Sanheim is a young, budding star that every owner needs to keep an eye on in 2019-20 if not also down the stretch this season. He also has 117 blocks and 39 hits in 2018-19.
