  • Bruins' Zachary Senyshyn: Leads Providence with nine goals

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(12/12/18) Senyshyn leads AHL Providence with nine goals through 25 games to date.

Senyshyn, who has added three helpers in that span, has vaulted to the top of his team's goal-scoring list by having tallied four times over his last three outings. The 15th overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry draft carries a minus-9 rating, but his recent uptick in production is encouraging and could lead to a call-up this season if he's able to further round out his two-way game. Speed and scoring potential are Senyshyn's calling cards and both of those are elements the Bruins could use up front.

Bruins' Zachary Senyshyn: Starting out with Baby Bruins

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(9/25/18) Senyshyn was reassigned to AHL Providence on Tuesday, Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald reports.

The fleet-footed winger scored two goals on 12 shots to complement a plus-2 rating over three preseason games. Senyshyn is said to be close to seizing a role in the NHL, though it appears his next opportunity at the top level won't come until the Bruins are inevitably hit with more injuries up front.

Bruins' Zachary Senyshyn: Logs 26 points in first pro season

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/25/18) Senyshyn logged 12 goals and 26 points in 66 games for AHL Providence in his first season as a pro.

The 2015 first-rounder's numbers weren't anything special this past season, but the 21-year-old did show glimpses of his offensive potential and retains a high ceiling as a prospect thanks to his blazing wheels and listed 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame. The Bruins noticeably passed on both Mathew Barzal and Kyle Connor in order to select Senyshyn 15th overall in 2015, which continues to irk some Boston fans, but the pick no longer looks like the sort of reach it was portrayed as at the time. Based on his level of production in his first pro campaign, Senyshyn should start next season at the AHL level. That said, we'd expect the speedster to take his game to the next level in 2018-19, much as he did in his second full slate in the OHL with Sault Ste. Marie, when he potted 45 goals in 66 contests.

Bruins' Zachary Senyshyn: Riding goal streak

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(12/20/17) Senyshyn has scored a goal in each of his last three games while playing for AHL Providence.

The 2015 first-round pick now has six goals and 15 points through 26 games this campaign, his first full season as a pro. As someone who recorded a "winning season" -- finishing with more goals than assists -- in each of his last three years in major junior, Senyshyn hasn't been as much of a shoot-first player for the Baby B's. Already with a wealth of young, talented forwards on its roster, Boston will likely leave Senyshyn in the minors for the entirety of 2017-18 to further his development.

Bruins' Zachary Senyshyn: Headed for AHL

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(9/24/17) Senyshyn has been assigned to AHL Providence.

Senyshyn's game-breaking speed and goal-scoring upside make him a potential fantasy contributor down the road, but he'll need to polish his all-around game in order to make the jump to the NHL level. The 2015 first-rounder is coming off a 2016-17 season in which he recorded 42 goals and 65 points in 59 games for OHL Sault Ste. Marie.
