  • Lightning's Taylor Raddysh: Heads back to junior

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(9/20/17) Raddysh has been reassigned to his junior team, OHL Erie, where he racked up 42 goals and 109 points in 58 games last season.

It's not really a surprise, as the Bolts are loaded up front and Raddysh needs to develop his game more. He could be off-the-charts dominant in Erie this season.

Lightning's Taylor Raddysh: Leads Erie to OHL Championship

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/13/17) Raddysh picked up a hat trick to lead OHL Erie to a 4-3 win over Mississauga and the OHL Championship on Friday.

Raddysh tied the game with 1:15 remaining in regulation before fellow Tampa prospect Anthony Cirelli won the game on the power play less than three minutes into overtime. Erie joins QMJHL champion Saint John and host Windsor in the Memorial Cup Championship. Regina and Seattle are still battling for the WHL Championship and the final berth in the tournament. As for Raddysh, after posting 109 points in 58 regular-season games, he has continued his dominance to the tune of 12 goals and 31 points in 22 playoff contests thus far.

Lightning's Taylor Raddysh: Ties Canadian WJC record with four goals Thursday

(12/30/16) Raddysh racked up four goals and added an assist in Canada's 10-2 win over Latvia at the 2017 World Junior Championship on Thursday in Toronto.

Raddysh joined Brayden Schenn (2010), Simon Gagne (1999) and Mario Lemieux (1983) as the only Canadian players to score four goals in a game at the World Juniors. He also had a game-high six shots on goal despite the fact he played just 11:21 in the lopsided contest. Raddysh led the OHL in scoring with 61 points in 28 games when he left for Team Canada's training camp just over three weeks ago.

Lightning's Taylor Raddysh: Leads OHL in scoring

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(11/8/16) Raddysh leads the OHL in scoring with 39 points in 15 games this season.

He's a hard worker on and off the ice, and it's paying off. Raddych's skating is below average and that will be the rate-limiting factor on his NHL future. But his offensive game is superb, his hockey sense is high and he's willing to play any role. There will be a role for Raddych in the NHL and who knows -- he might be a real weapon in tight on the power play.

Lightning's Taylor Raddysh: Posts three points in OHL season debut Saturday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(10/1/16) Raddysh picked up a goal and a pair of helpers in OHL Erie's 6-1 win over Kingston on Saturday.

There is plenty of concern that Raddysh's point production will drop this season with former teammate Dylan Strome almost certainly spending this season in the NHL with Arizona, but he looked just fine in his season debut on Saturday. Raddysh remains a risk moving forward because he is a poor skater, but he is also a big body who excels at carving out space in the offensive zone. Raddysh was a second-round pick of the Lightning (58th overall) this past summer.
