The Flames reassigned Zagidulin to AHL Stockton on Friday.
David Rittich (personal) rejoined the Flames on Friday, which led to Louis Domingue being returned to the taxi squad and Zagidulin being returned to the minors. The 25-year-old Russian will serve as Stockton's No. 1 option whenever the AHL campaign gets underway.
Zagidulin was added to the taxi squad from AHL Stockton on Thursday.
Zagidulin will replace Louis Domingue on the taxi squad, as Domingue is handling backup duties with David Rittich away from the team Thursday. Expect Zagidulin to spend most of his time in the minors and on the taxi squad with three netminders currently ahead of him on the roster.
