A rundown of Sunday's Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony in Sochi.
Recap all the happenings from Sunday's Closing Ceremony.
1:16 p.m. -- With a tear, the giant bear blows out the flame, thus signalling the end of the Sochi Olympics.
1:13 p.m. -- Sad the Games are over? Not anymore -- giant mascots!
1:09 p.m. -- Bach says: "We leave as friends of the Russian people." And with that, he declares the Games closed.
1:05 p.m. -- IOC President Thomas Bach now speaking. Thanks athletes, agrees that Russia has "delivered" on its promise.
12:57 p.m. -- Speech time. "Russia has delivered on its promise," says Sochi head Dmitry Chernyshenko. He later added: "This is the new face of Russia, our Russia. And for us these games are the best games ever."
12:44 p.m. -- And now Thomas Bach and the mayors of both Sochi and Pyeongchang are introduced for the flag handover ceremony. It is a quite literal event. The flag is handed from the Sochi mayor to Bach to the Pyeongchang mayor.
12:38 p.m. -- As we approach the hand-off, video of a young boy literally closing the book on Sochi 2014. Very clever. Now Greece's national anthem being played.
12:35 p.m. -- We've entered the circus portion of the program, with the official hand-off to Pyeongchang coming soon.
12:26 p.m. -- Next, a tribute to Russia's greatest writers.
12:20 p.m. -- Sixty-two pianos are wheeled about the stage as Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No.2 is played. And there are lots of people in Mozart wigs. From there we move to ballet.

11:29 a.m. -- Russian Olympic champions, including American-norn Vic Wild, presenting the Russian flag as a children's choir fires up their national anthem. A truly beautiful rendition.

11:20 a.m. -- Ah, Russia. Making a joke of the ring malfunction during the Opening Ceremony.
11:14 a.m. -- And we're underway at 20:14 local time in Russia. Get it? 2014!
10:57 a.m. -- Again, the Closing Ceremony will celebrate Russia's culture. Here's a glimpse.
10:47 a.m. -- Fisht Stadium is beginning to fill as some rock band is reportedly warming up the crowd with their own renditions of Pink Floyd and Queen.
10:10 a.m. -- United States figure skater Gracie Gold says goodbye to Sochi.
And that'll do it.
After a bit over two weeks of competition, the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi have ended save for the Closing Ceremony, which is scheduled to begin around 11:15 a.m. EST, with a pre-show to begin 45 minutes prior.
The theme is "Reflections of Russia," with a focus on Russian culture, art, and literature. The Opening Ceremony celebrated the country's history.
As with the Opening Ceremony, we'll be here throughout the event to bring you all the sights from Russia, as the flag will officially be handed off to the next Winter Olympics host city, Pyeongchang, South Korea.
