It may seem like Pokemon Go is everywhere, but there's actually a large part of the world that still does not have access to the mobile gaming phenomenon.

One such place is Brazil, and Rio de Janeiro mayor Eduardo Paes is not happy about it.

He took to Facebook to implore Nintendo to bring the game to his country before the start of the 2016 Rio Olympics.

According to the Facebook translation tool, in English that says, "Hello, Nintendo! 23 days to go to the Olympics Rio 2016. The whole world is coming here. Come too!"

Rio has been beset by a number of problems, from the Zika virus to water pollution to underfunded police departments, so taking a timeout to catch some Pokemon could go a long way towards easing the tension.

Also, it would give spectators something to do during the less interesting events. Gotta catch 'em all.
