Break out your "Basketball Never Stops" T-shirts because Olympic basketball is here to get us through the month of August. Play begins on August 6 for the women and ends with the gold medal game on August 20. Format
Twelve teams are divided into two groups of six. The top four teams from each group (based on record and points) advance to single elimination bracket play.
TV and Stream
The Olympic Games will be broadcast on various NBC networks. Those include NBC, Telemundo, Bravo, CNBC Golf Channel, MSNBC, NBC Sports Network, NBC Universo and USA Network. NBC Sports Live Extra is where you'll be able to stream all the matches live.
