Winter Olympics 2018 Medal Tracker: USA women's hockey earns gold medal game

The United States women's hockey team is into Wednesday night's gold medal game at the 2018 Winter Olympics after clobbering Finland, 5-0. The American women will either face rival Canada -- the only team they've lost to at these Olympics -- or the Olympic Athletes of Russia.

One thing's for sure: thank goodness for the X Games sports for Team USA. Norway may be lapping the field in the medal count at the Pyeongchang Winter Games, but Team USA continues to crush it in halfpipe and slopestyle events. The United States picked up it first freestyle skiing medal on Sunday in South Korea when Nick Goepper flew into the silver-medal spot in ski slopestyle.

Short-track speed skater John-Henry Krueger also won a surprise silver in the men's 1000-meter final after skating out of a crash that took out all but him and the gold medalist. Krueger's silver ended an eight-year medal drought for the United States in individual speed-skating events.

Below is the 2018 Winter Olympics Medal Tracker, which tracks every country to win a medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics. The record for most golds won in a single games was 14 by Canada in the 2010 Winter Olympics.
