Barcelona 4-2: Eibar: Off day for Messi, Barca loses out on La Liga title to Real Madrid
It wasn't the day Barcelona had hoped for

Barcelona lost out on winning La Liga on Sunday despite beating Eibar 4-2. Needing Real Madrid to also lose to Malaga, Los Blancos won 2-0 to clinch the league, leaving Barca empty handed on the final day of the season.
The up-and-down match and perfectly describes Barca's campaign. It was sharp for some of the game and poor for the rest, missing some easy chances that in the end really didn't matter with Real's result.
After going down 2-0 at home, Barca rallied with an own goal, a goal from close from Luis Suarez and the winning penalty kick from Messi.
Messi also missed a penalty kick and a really easy chance in the second half. Here's Messi's winning goal:

The result sees Barca get to 90 points on the campaign, three less than their rival. Barca can still win a trophy on May 27 when it faces Deportivo Alaves in the Copa del Rey final.
