Borussia Dortmund bus attack: Injured Marc Bartra to miss 'several weeks' after blasts

Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Bartra posted an update of his status on Instagram on Wednesday just before his club played Monaco in the Champions League quarterfinals.

The game was rescheduled from Tuesday to Wednesday after the team bus was attacked with explosives, Bartra was the lone injured player and was taken to the hospital. He underwent surgery on his arm on Tuesday.

Glad to see him doing well. Thankfully it wasn't much, much worse. Here's hoping we see him back out on the pitch soon. The expectation is for him to miss several weeks of action, per ESPNFC
