Champions League picks for RB Salzburg vs. Brondby

Before you tune in to Wednesday's Champions League play-off, you need to see the UEFA Champions League picks from European soccer insider Martin Green. After working in the sports betting industry for several years, Green became a professional sports writer and handicapper and has covered the game worldwide. Since then, his European soccer picks have been spot-on. Green has generated over $36,000 for $100 bettors since the 2017-18 season, and he has his finger on the pulse of the game all over the globe.

For RB Salzburg vs. Brondby, Green is backing RB Salzburg to win and two or more goals in the match (-150). RB Salzburg dominated the first leg against Brondby, keeping possession for 75 percent of the match and recording 29 shots compared to Brondby's two. The Red Bulls finished with 11 shots on target but were only able to score twice. RB Salzburg has also been dominant in league play this season, winning its first five games in the Austrian Bundesliga.

RB Salzburg's attack is spearheaded by striker Karim Adeyemi, who's already scored six goals in five league games. Adeyemi scored RB Salzburg's first goal against Brondby last week, and he'll look to secure the Red Bulls' spot in the Champions League group stage with another strong performance on Wednesday.

Brondby, meanwhile, is winless in its last seven games. The Danish side has conceded 11 goals in its first six fixtures in the Danish Superliga.

"The main issue has been in defense, where Brondby has conceded 11 times in six games," Green told SportsLine. "Brondby probably should have conceded more than two goals in its defeat to Salzburg last week, but the Austrian side missed several golden opportunities."
