A sensational N’Golo Kante strike in the second half carried Chelsea into the FA Cup semifinals and past 10-man Manchester United 1-0 on Monday at Stamford Bridge.
The FA Cup quarterfinal tie, which saw United without the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial, was dominated by the Blues and was heated.
But Chelsea wasted several early chances and couldn’t immediately take advantage of having an extra player after Ander Herrera saw two yellow cards turn into a red card in the first half.
United, with Ibra suspended and Rooney and Martial out with injury, struggled to create in attack and was saved defensively a couple times by David De Gea’s heroics in goal before Kante’s winning strike on 51 minutes. Take a look.
N'Golo Kanté does it all!

United’s Marcus Rashford had a fantastic chance to level it in the second half on a beautiful run but Thibaut Courtois made a brilliant save to keep things at 1-0.
Chelsea had chances to finish off the match but again was wasteful but managed to hold on to the deserved 1-0 win.
The result sees the Blues through, where they join Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham in the final four.
