The MLS All-Stars look to have their opponent for 2017, and boy is it going to be a big one, but the league isn't saying who it is just yet.

On Tuesday, MLS announced that Solider Field in Chicago, Illinois would host the 2017 MLS All-Star Game.

The game will be on Aug. 2, and MLS commissioner Don Garber said it would be against a "top five" team in the world.

According to FourFourTwo, the league is in talks with Real Madrid. It was previously believed that the opponent would be Barcelona. Both teams have used the U.S. often as their preseason site.

Real Madrid is arguably the biggest club in the world and has more Champions League crowns (11) than any other team. It would make sense for Real to be involved in this game, as they are already scheduled to compete in the International Champions Cup in the United States. Getting Real for this game would be big for the league and add to its exposure in Spain. Led by Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, the team is currently in first place in La Liga and still alive in the Champions League where it will play in the round of 16 in February.

It's a big-time opponent for the MLS All-Stars if confirmed and continues a great run in getting top-tier clubs in the match. Over the last 10 years, clubs such as Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Tottenham and Roma have participated.
