Though it hasn't been very convincing, the Germans have put themselves in a good spot and looked dangerous with Mario Gomez in attack. Poland's narrow win over lowly Ukraine saw them finish in second, which means a spot in the next round.
What's next: Germany will play on June 26 against at third place team yet to be determined. Poland plays Switzerland on June 25 at 9 a.m. ET in the Round of 16.
