Saturday was a good day for Cristiano Ronaldo, as he scored twice and Real Madrid won the Champions League for the 12th time in club history. But the prematch activities didn't go particularly well. While warming up for the biggest match of the year, Ronaldo got soaked by sprinklers on the field before calling the groundscrew to examine the incident.
Take a look. He was warming up and a sprinkler started pelting him. CR7 then goes over to try and get it to stop:
All soaked, he gave the grounds crewman an evil look:
But they then made up and Ronaldo moved away:
That reminds me of the ninth green at nine scene from "Happy Gilmore:"
That stinks for Ronaldo, but in the end, props to him for making up and he went on to have a memorable night. I'm sure that guy will think that the little shower woke him up and contributing to his success on the pitch.
