The stage is set. After entering the tournament with 24 teams, just 16 remain at Euro 2016. Here's the bracket for the remaining teams ahead of the Round of 16 beginning on Saturday.
As you can see, the left side is light, with Belgium and Croatia looking like the only real contenders there. But how about Portugal? With all the talent, can they put it together and make a run back to the final, where they haven't been since 2004? That side of the bracket has zero Euro titles.
As for the right side, 10 past championships are represented. To have one side with Germany, Italy, Spain, France and England is absurd and whoever makes the final will be battle tested. The easiest route goes to France though, as getting by Ireland and then the winner of England-Iceland should prove fairly easy if the team can improve upon its group stage form.
Still all to play for, and with teams like Wales, Iceland, Hungary and Northern Ireland still alive, the drama is just starting.
