We all knew Lionel Messi would miss Argentina's next World Cup qualifier on Tuesday with a groin injury, but the status of his injury remained unclear. Although the severity of the injury still isn't very clear, the superstar took to Facebook to provide a little update to fans. Here's a look at what Messi posted on Monday.

"Everything is fine, I have to slow things down as I recover with physio, but it's nothing to worry about. Thanks to you all for your support."

Now, from that it's hard to tell if he will play for Barcelona this weekend against Deportivo Alaves in La Liga action. The fact that he says he has to slow things down leads many to believe that he may miss a game or two to fully recover. Only time will tell. But the good news for Barcelona fans is they get Neymar back, who returns after the Olympics and World Cup qualifying with Brazil.
