WATCH: The legendary save by Frei that won an MLS Cup for Sounders

There are fine saves, and then there is this.

Stefan Frei of the Seattle Sounders produced a breathtaking save on Toronto FC's Jozy Altidore in extra time during Saturday's MLS Cup.

With the match at 0-0, it appeared as if Toronto would take the lead on the USMNT man's fine header, but Frei wouldn't have it. Check this out:

That is just out of this world. His momentum was taking him to the left post, and he somehow springs to knock that out. A save of the year candidate if I've ever seen one, and it saved a title for the Sounders.

The team went on to win in penalty kicks. If he doesn't make that save, it's over.
