Italian Serie A picks for Bologna vs. Napoli

Before you tune in to Thursday's match, you need to see the Napoli vs. Bologna picks from European soccer insider Martin Green. After working in the sports betting industry for several years, Green became a professional sports writer and handicapper and has covered the game worldwide. Since then, his European soccer picks have been spot-on. Green has generated over $36,000 for $100 bettors since the 2017-18 season, and he has his finger on the pulse of the game all over the globe.

For Napoli vs. Bologna, Green is taking Napoli to win by at least 1.5 goals for a -110 payout. After finishing 12th in Serie A last season, Bologna finds itself within striking distance of a European qualification spot early, but it's coming off a 4-2 loss to AC Milan. Napoli's attacking quality could be a problem for a defense that has conceded at least twice in five of nine league matches this season.

Bologna goalkeeper Łukasz Skorupski has been 2.3 goals worse than expected based on shots he's faced, and he could be in for an onslaught against the likes of Victor Osimhen, Lorenzo Insigne, Hirving Lozano and Matteo Politano. Meanwhile, Napoli has seven clean sheets in 12 matches across all competitions this season and Bologna could have difficulty breaking its lines.

"Napoli has been ruthless at home this season. It beat Venezia 2-0, despite having Victor Osimhen sent off after just 22 minutes. Napoli then beat Juventus 2-1 in a game it dominated, Cagliari 2-0 and Torino 1-0," Green told SportsLine. "(Napoli) beat Bologna home and away last season and looks even stronger now."
