Real Madrid vs. Bayern Munich violence: German fans clash with Spanish police

The game wasn't the only thing that went poorly for Bayern Munich fans on Tuesday. As the team got eliminated in the Champions League quarterfinals by Real Madrid on Cristiano Ronaldo's historic performance, fans clashed with Spanish police inside of the Santiago Bernabeu. 

According to AS, the national police charged at a section of the Bayern fans but has not confirmed why they did so. There were 10 minutes of tension before the situation was under control.

It didn't seem like the fans threw anything, but you figure the police charged there for some specific reason.
