Iowa State's Bryce Dejean-Jones arrested early Thursday
He'll be suspended for Friday's game against Iowa.
Iowa State's Bryce Dejean-Jones, the reigning CBSSports.com National Player of the Week, was arrested early Thursday and charged with "hosting a drug house" after police responded to a complaint about loud noises and found marijauna inside his apartment.
His bond was initally set at $1,600. But the "hosting a drug house" charge was dropped before noon. Still, Iowa State coach Fred Hoiberg said Thursday afternoon that Dejean-Jones will be suspended for Friday's game at Iowa.
Dejean-Jones started his college career at USC, then played two seasons at UNLV before enrolling at Iowa State this offseason. The senior is averaging 17.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists for the Cyclones. He was named CBSSports.com's National Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 24.5 points in wins over Arkansas and UMKC.
