It's been a beautiful World Cup for scoring, and Wednesday brought the best-looking goal of the tourney to date.

Trailing 1-0 to the Dutch in the first half, Aussie striker Tim Cahill took a beautiful, parabolic pass from Tim McGowan and one-timed it right into the twine. Ball never hit the ground between touching McGowan and Cahill's feet.

This is the best of soccer; this is what get casual viewers excited to follow. And good on Australia -- an underdog in Group B, to say the least -- to notch it even with the talented troupte from the Netherlands.
