Serena Williams is one of the greatest and most iconic tennis stars in the world and is already showing her daughter the way. Williams took to Instagram to post a series of photos and a video matching with Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., who was born in 2017.
The two are in matching purple fits with coordinating stances to go with it. Alexis might be a toddler, but she already looks more than comfortable on the court, even looking like the perfect doubles team and the mother-daughter duo that has 23 Grand Slam singles titles between them are sharing what I am imagining was a victory with a high five.
The little tennis pro took the whole thing very seriously, as you can see from the adorable photos.
It is no surprise that the daughter of the tennis GOAT would find her way on the court at a young age and it could be just a few years before seeing the now 3-year-old Alexis hoist her first trophy -- Serena won her first WTA tournament at 17.
Everyone couldn't get enough at the iconic duo, with famous faces taking to the comments.
Williams' sister Venus Williams commented, "I just love her and you too much! If this gets any cuter I will NOT LIVE!"
Fellow tennis player Genie Bouchard said, "her squat in the 2nd pic i'm crying."
Former NBA star Dwyane Wade wrote, "If this isn't the cutest thing I've seen."
The tiny tennis champ had a photo posted on her own Instagram page, which is run by Williams, asking her followers to caption the picture.
Like most everyone, the coronavirus pandemic has left Williams at home more often than normal and has spent time doing movie nights, skincare routines and workout sessions with her little one.
She and her husband Alexis Olympia Ohanian Sr. have continued being outspoken about the fight for equality and justice and have posted conversations and calls to action on their Instagram TV pages.
