WWE Raw results, recap, grades: LA Knight gets revenge on Jey Uso to close the show
Knight dropped Uso one week after Uso blindsided him with a spear

Less than one week out from Wrestlepalooza, WWE Raw featured many of the top superstars scheduled to compete on that card. Among those superstars were The Usos, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker.
The Usos are set to face Reed and Breakker on Saturday, but it was Jimmy Uso who teamed up with LA Knight against Jey Uso's wishes during Raw. As expected. Reed and Breakker took advantage of the lack of unity between Knight and Uso, but the lasting image from the event was Knight hitting Jey Uso with a BFT after the match, getting revenge for Jey hitting him with a spear to end last week's Raw.
CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.
LA Knight gets revenge on Jey Uso to close the show
Early in the show, LA Knight confronted Jey Uso about Uso spearing him at the end of the previous week's Raw. Knight would go on to demand a match against Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker to Raw general manager Adam Pearce. Pearce agreed, but told Knight he needed to pick a partner, leading to Knight choosing Jimmy Uso. Jimmy later told Knight that he was not going to be his partner because of the situation with Jey, but changed his mind when Jey "ordered" him to not team with Knight.
Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker def. LA Knight & Jimmy Uso via pinfall when Reed hit Uso with a Jagged Edge. Reed and Breakker looked to continue their attack until Jey ran in with a chair to take out Reed and Breakker. Knight slid back into the ring and grabbed the chair but dropped it before shaking hands with Jey. When Jey turned around, Knight struck with a BFT on Jey to end the show.
The expected revenge ending as the Usos now go into Wrestlepalooza. Will Knight factor into the result of the tag team match? It would seem silly if not. The Raw babyface streak of not being able to pull it together continued on Monday night. What else is new? Grade: B
What else happened on WWE Raw?
- John Cena kicked off the show with a promo about his upcoming match with Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza. Cena admitted that he's afraid of Lesnar before saying he doesn't back down, which is why he is saying "yes" to the match and that he'll get the best of Lesnar in a battle of generational stars.
- Lyra Valkyria def. Roxanne Perez via pinfall after hitting Nightwing. Raquel Rodriguez was ejected from ringside during the match but returned to attack Perez after the match. Bayley ran in to make the save, running Judgment Day off.
- Penta def. Kofi Kingston via pinfall after a springboard Mexican destroyer. Both Xavier Woods and Grayson Waller attempted to interfere to help Kingston but Penta was able to fight both off and get the victory. New Day attacked Penta backstage later in the show.
- CM Punk and AJ Lee came face-to-face with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. The two husband and wife teams exchanged words until Lee slapped Rollins. Rollins said he would never hit a woman but he had someone who would, suggesting Lynch attack Lee. Instead, Lynch argued with Rollins before leaving the ring. This was all a set-up to allow Lynch to slide back into the ring and leave Lee lying on the canvas after a Manhandle Slam.
- El Grande Americano def. Dragon Lee via submission after interference from to different El Grande Americanos. AJ Styles ran to ringside to help Lee after interference from the second Americano only to be surprised by the third. This all added up to Lee losing the match in the confusion.
- Stephanie Vaquer def. Kairi Sane via pinfall after the SVB. The match came about when Asuka interrupted Vaquer and Iyo Sky shaking hands as Adam Pearce talked about their Wrestlepalooza title match. Asuka told Vaquer she would face Sane, which caught Sane off guard. After the match, Sky prevented Asuka from trying to attack Vaquer.
