WWE Raw results, recap, grades: Seth Rollins qualifies for Money in the Bank, gets taken out by CM Punk
Rollins took the next step in his master plan, but Punk got a measure of revenge to close the show

Seth Rollins has his eyes set on more than simply becoming world champion, as he made clear during Raw on Monday night. Ultimately, Rollins' goal is total power and control of the future of WWE and making that future match his vision.
Rollins took a big step toward that goal on Raw, defeating Sami Zayn and Finn Balor to qualify for the men's Money in the Bank ladder match. Should Rollins grab the Money in the Bank on June 7, he will be able to choose the exact moment to strike and grab a world title.
Rollins' night wouldn't end on a high note, however, as his victory was spoiled by a surprise attack from CM Punk, who put Rollins down with a Go to Sleep to end the show.
CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from Yeungling Center in Tampa, Florida.
Seth Rollins qualifies for Money in the Bank, gets taken out by CM Punk
Seth Rollins opened the show with Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in tow. After Heyman talked up all three men in the group, including pointing out the respect Rollins had for Reed after their matches prior to Reed's injury, Rollins took the microphone to talk up his vision of the future. Rollins said that he realized that winning Money in the Bank would give him the one item that would give him total control of WWE, picking and choosing when he would win a world title. The first step of that plan would come, he said, by winning his qualifying match later in the night.
Men's Money in the Bank qualifying match – Seth Rollins def. Sami Zayn and Finn Balor via pinfall after a stomp on Balor. After Zayn had the match won with a Helluva Kick on Rollins, Breaker pulled Zayn from the ring. Jey Uso ran to the ring, making good on his promise to have Zayn's back, to fight off Reed and Breakker until the numbers overwhelmed him. Dominik Mysterio ran in to slide a chair into the ring for Balor, but Rollins hit a stomp on Balor, driving his head into the chair for the win. After the match, Rollins instructed Breakker and Reed to attack Zayn and Uso but CM Punk's music hit. Breaker and Reed headed up the entrance ramp to cut Punk off but Bunk came from the crowd to hit Rollins with a Go to Sleep before retreating to the crowd as the show went off the air.
There's no shortage of intrigue surrounding Rollins and his group, but it feels like very little is actually advancing. Yes, Rollins added Reed to his stable. Despite that, he is still tied up with Punk and Zayn and it feels like that situation is going to drag on for quite some time before reaching any sort of resolution. Either way, Rollins is now in Money in the Bank, and a win would put him in a position to continue moving toward his goal of taking ultimate power. Grade: B

Uso closed things out by saying that he was going to make Gunther tap out again.
- Kairi Sane def. Liv Morgan via pinfall after a schoolboy pin. Roxanne Perez shoved Sane off the top rope, causing enough of a distraction for Morgan as she argued with Raquel Rodriguez for Sane to score the pin. Morgan would side with Perez backstage after the match.
