WWE TLC 2017: Matches, card, start time, date, location, rumors, kickoff show

The final WWE pay-per-view before Survivor Series will go down live on Sunday, Oct. 22 from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Raw-brand event will not feature universal champion Brock Lesnar, but it should still be an incredible show that advances storylines heading into one of the company's biggest events of the year.

WWE had spent plenty of time building up this card only to see it fall apart at the last minute as a viral infection made its way through the locker room and affected two of the top stars on the card -- Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt. As such, two matches on this card have undergone major changes, which you can see below.

The PPV will begin with a kickoff show at 7 p.m. ET before the event itself starts at 8 p.m. CBS Sports will be covering TLC live, so be sure to join us Sunday night.

2017 WWE TLC matches

Tables, Ladders and Chairs -- Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Kurt Angle vs. The Miz, Sheamus & Cesaro, Braun Strowman & Kane: Originally set to feature the in-ring reunion of The Shield, this will now serve as the main event for the show with Lesnar taking the entire month off. It's some curious booking considering the three-on-three match would have seemed to be even and this certainly puts the faces at a big disadvantage. Angle replaces Roman Reigns, who is one of a handful of WWE superstars to be suffering from a viral infection after an outbreak in the locker room. Angle has not wrestled in a WWE ring since 2006 and was not expected to return to the squared circle for a few months at the tail end of his angle with storyline-son Jason Jordan.

Finn Balor vs. AJ Styles: Planned to be a battle between Balor (as the Demon) and Bray Wyatt (as Sister Abigail), WWE had to completely change its plans here after Wyatt joined Reigns and others as a wrestler diagnosed with a viral infection. Suddenly, the Balor match went from one you may want to forgot to something that could wind up being legendary as the former Bullet Club leaders will square off in WWE for the first time. Balor will still be dressed as The Demon, for some reason.

Women's Championship -- Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Mickie James: This was the first match announced for the card, and it may wind up being a send-off for James, who has done well in a short veteran return with the company.

Asuka vs. Emma: A Fatal 5-Way match was held on Raw to determine Asuka's opponent at TLC. Emma won the opportunity to get bludgeoned by the Empress of Tomorrow in what should be the start of a reign of terror for Asuka.

Cruiserweight Championship -- Kalisto (c) vs. Enzo Amore: The rematch will be held at TLC, and it is expected that Amore will regain the title and lead the cruiserweight division again. That said, things have changed so much with the reported departure of Neville that this could be a bit up in the air.

Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann vs. Jack Gallagher & The Brian Kendrick: This mini-feud has been going on for a couple weeks and should come to a conclusion on Sunday night. This is a meaningless match in the grand scheme of things.

Sasha Banks vs. Alicia Fox (Kickoff Show): This match was added to the card on Monday night after the Banks-Fox feud continued with Fox attacking The Boss in the backstage area after losing for a second time in as many showdowns.
